The Hazli weighted blankets are filled with hypoallergenic micro glass beads. The beads are evenly distributed in each individual pocket, don’t shift and don’t make any noise.
We have a 10'' pockets design for better weight distribution. The seams are very strong to prevent beads from leaking.
How do I choose the correct size for my child?
Follow this simple rule: choose the weighted blanket that weighs about 10% - 12% of your child body weight plus one pound.

Love this blanket. 11yr old sleeps with this every night. The glass beads are distributed evenly throughout the blanket and stitched in small areas so they can’t pool up. One of the few weighted blankets that has a cover that zips on and off for washing. The quilt and cover have many ties and loops to keep them in place when closed. I wish my duvet was made this well and had this many attachments and that was from Anthropologie. The cover washes perfectly. It is so very soft.

I would like for it to be a little longer, but my son says it’s verry comfortable and is the prefect weight. He loves it. He sleeps throughout the night now.

*** Update: My second daughter loved her sister's weighted blanket so much we bought another one. The kids sleep soundly with these. Very soft and comfortable. Washing isn't difficult, but takes some thought and effort to do it correctly to get everything back in place. My second daughter does not have sleep issues but loves this for the warmth.We gave this to our 6 year old daughter who has anxiety issues and wakes up at least 1-2 times a night. When she opened this on her birthday she loved the bright pink color and the soft minky feel. Once she covered up with the blanket she immediately relaxed (even after a long night of presents and cake) and nearly fell asleep in her chair. She slept through the night that night and the following couple nights. Now about a week later, she still sleeps better with this weighted blanket than without it but she will wake up if it slides off in the night from turning.The minky is really soft and the 5 pound weight seems just right for her (about 40 pounds). It is heavy for her to carry down the hall but adults will have no problem moving it. I haven't washed it yet and am a bit nervous about that since the instructions are very explicit but overall we are really happy with her "heavy blanket." This product was recommended to us from a friend who is an occupational therapist. So glad we splurged on this blanket!

My 6 year old daughter likes the blanket except for the fact that it’s not very wide. She loves the feel and it helps her relax at night so she can get a restful night sleep. So far it’s been great and the quality is very good.

This blanket REALLY helped my 11yo with nighttime anxiety. For a long time, she was repeatedly coming to our room saying she couldn't sleep and was worrying about this or that. I had heard about weighted blankets and while I didn't totally understand how they could work, I was willing to give one a try. She hadn't been to sleep on time on a school night for months straight and I'm so glad we bit the bullet to get this. As soon as she started using it, she fell asleep easily and got a full night's rest. Worth every penny.

It’s soft.. 2 stars for that. But it’s so short, it isn’t really a full coverage blanket. My daughter hates it, tried giving it to my son because he has ASD too, he hated it, and me and my husband tried it, but it was sooooo short. It just sits folded in a corner. Waste of almost $200. It’s too bad because we had such high hopes. :( We though it could help calm meltdowns and also, my daughter has night terrors but she will not let it near her.
