I added the front and rear sumosprings to my 14k lb chassis chevy 4500 motorhome. Collectively they have taken the ride from rough, painful and downright terrible to outstanding. The harsh bumps that existed from concrete freeways with large expansion joints is a thing of the past. I used to hit bridge transitions and the whole motorhome would slam, rattling the cabinets and dishes. The back passengers complained at the quality of the ride to the point they were car sick. The best benefit is the side to side sway is nearly gone. It's extremely improved. Large trucks used to suck me into their lane as they start to pass and then push me away as they would take the lead. Wyoming winds would make the drive tiring. These little guys have all but eliminated the sway. The motorhome isn't a sports car but it's tight while cornering and feels more like a car than a motorhome. Windy mountain roads are now a one-handed operation. I can't say enough how these improved the ride! They installed in minutes (once i figured it out). Make sure you jack up the frame far enough to create the gap between the chassis and the axle. You can then slide them into place easily. If there is one thing you should do for a van/truck based chassis motorhome it's this.

Very effective devices, and worth the effort.Installation on Chevy Express 4500 (RV): Jack up the wheel to where it spins so that you get the maximum distance. Pop out the old one according to the instructions (super easy). For getting the new one in, I found that twisting it as it goes in worked well. It doesn't have to be centered or positioned properly. It just has to be inside the cup. I figured that out with the first one, and then the second was very quick and easy. When I lowered the vehicle back down to the ground, the weight of the vehicle mostly seated the sumospring into the socket. After a short drive it was fully seated.

It’s amazing the difference these made in the handling of the RV. Installed them onto my 2006 Chevy 3500 RV chassis. More responsive and tracks better in windy conditions. Highly recommend this product and it’s an inexpensive upgrade. - I was a bus driver for 12 years.

No sure whats happening but my sumo springs has changed color from yellow to a brown orange. I don't feel that the ride got bad however it did improve the over all ride after it was installed. I believe based of the photo its compressed a lot and i hope its not restricting my expensive blistein shocks or coils from working properly.

After about 3000 miles I love these SumoSprings Front for my GMC Savana 3500. The van rides so much better even with all the pot holes in Pittsburgh. Very easy to install. I purchased the rears also.

Got these Sumo bump stops for my 2007 Roadtrek class B RV built on a Chevy Express 3500 chassis. One of the OEM bump stops had deteriorated and both needed to be replaced. I decided on these Sumo bump stops. Based on the instructions, this should have been an easy installation. With the vehicle on jack stands and the wheel removed, the suspension was suppose to hang down far enough to make it simple to put the bump stops in place. Well, apparently no one had actually installed these springs on an Express van before because the suspension does not hang down far enough to mount these per instructions. It's an extremely tight fit. I had to really force these bump stops into place just to get them partially seated into the mount. The problem is that the base of these bump stops is way bigger than the OEM bump stops, so getting them to fit into the mount and have the base seated flush is very difficult and maybe impossible. Even with vehicle dropped, the Sumo's only seated about seventy-five percent into the mount. I hope that driving around for some time will fully seat them. I don't think they can fall out as they are somewhat compressed. I'd read on another website that someone else with the same vehicle had the exact same problem as I did. I will provide an update to this review if anything changes.Update 07/16/20: Recently completed a 2284 mile road trip with these Sumo bump stops installed. Driver's side bump stop fully seated into the mount. Passenger side does not appear to be any better. Am disappointed but at least they did not fall out. However, during the road trip, it drove much better with less body roll on turns but also produced a harsher ride through rugged roads. Now I am curious if the lighter capacity Sumo bump stops in black or blue would have been better suited.
