The camera and waterproof 7800 battery work great. It was a little heavy when all put together. I used a float stick and tested in the pool by dropping it in and it came back up to the surface and float. I took this on 3 dives out at Catalina Island in CA and max depth I was at was 60 Feet. My average was at 40 feet. Average dives were about 45 mins. When I got home later that evening I washed it out in the kitchen sink in cold water then dried it off. I took the connections from camera off and no leaks found after a week i took the connection to the battery side off and a little moister must have made its way in since the USB connection and port already showed it starting to rust. I was surprised. I should have looked at that also when i got home.OPS. The company warrantied it and sent me out a new 7800 battery over night. That was very nice of them. Sorry i forgot to take pictures to post. As for the GOPRO 11 it worked great and did not even use much of the 7800 battery still had 4 lights when i got home and it was on for over 4 hours. Gopro did not shut off from over heating that I heard others have said that has happened to them. Maybe it was because the water was around 58 degrees.I would have given this 5 stars but i had some issues with it and wished they sold replacement Cables.Over all I was very impressed.

Seems like a decent case. But the only reason I bought it was to be able to use an outside power supply, so it’s just a water proof case until I can figure out a solution.

This is a review of the Suptig Waterproof case [supposedly] compatible with GoPro HERO 9, HERO 10, and HERO 11 black.I bought this for a motorcycle, as a way of powering my GoPro HERO10 Black directly, while protecting its lens and screens from flying debris, and keeping contaminents from entering the battery compartment (which gets exposed by removing the battery door to get access to the power/charging port).SIDE NOTE: The GoPro HERO 10 is my first action camera. My initial tests at using it on the motorcycle while powered only by battery, and without any external casing, resulted in the camera shutting down after 20ish minutes due to overheating. After seeing that Texas Fly Caster, on YT, discovered that his camera didn’t overheat when directly powered, I hoped this setup would also resolve my overheating issues. Vapers, btw, are all too familiar with how crazy hot Lithium Ion batteries can get! Even so, there are other videos that indicate various settings that can lead to overheating. Ones not mentioned were: turn off WiFi and Bluetooth when not needed.Back on subject… When I connect the HERO10 (with no battery installed) to the charging port in my home that I use for charging iPhones, etc., it powers up and is perfectly usable. When I do so with either of the two cables provided by Suptig, the HERO10 powers up, but gives me a prompt saying, “NOT ENOUGH POWER: Your GoPro will power off. Connect to a 5V/2A power source or higher to use your GoPro without a battery.†It shuts down after I click (or touch) the OK button. As a second test, I tried all three cables while plugging into the USB port on my motorcycle and got the same results: the cable that came with my HERO10 powers it just fine, allowing me to use the camera as normal; the cables provided by Suptig result in the same “NOT ENOUGH POWER†message and subsequent shutdown as indicated in the previous test. This wouldn’t be a big deal if the case could be fully sealed while using the cable that came with my GoPro. I’d hate to find out what happens to a $500 camera in a heavy rain, when a dime sized hole is fully open over top of a battery compartment that had its compartment door removed.Unfortunately, the screw-on caps that seal the dime sized hole that the cables fit through, are factory installed on the cables before the cable ends are installed. They can’t be removed in order to be used on other cables. For those reasons, I’m rating this as a 1 star, “failed to deliver†for my needs, and a terrible oversight by Suptig with its inadequate cables. But how would I rate it otherwise? There are all types and grades of plastic in this world. I’ve seen everything from brittle to super rugged. I’d rate the case in the high middle of that spectrum. The clear parts are made of decently rugged, thick acrylic, and the other parts are good, solid grade consumer level plastics. It certainly wouldn’t qualify as military grade, and may not survive a drop onto pavement at 60+ mph with camera inside, but for consumer purposes, it’s a solid thumbs up. I haven’t and have no intentions of testing it underwater. I’ll yield to other reviewers to report on that and the quality of its seals. If the cables were capable of powering the GoPro Hero10 Black, I’d expect to be rating this product as a solid 4 or 5, for my purposes, after testing it through some rain storms on my motorcycle.

I have two GoPro hero 8 cameras with the Suptig external batteries mounted on a kayak and needed something to keep them protected from water being splashed over the front and sides.I like the way it's setup, it came with a cable with waterproof connectors on each end. Now the cameras and the power supplies are protected. Please note, I don't submerge these so I'm unable to verify if they are water tight.Update: These seem to be good, and I like the way they keep water off the camera, however, I think they're for underwater setups. When placed on the kayak and running, the cameras overheat and shut down after about 15 minutes.

I tested this down to 80 feet and it did not leak. Be sure to test this without your gopro inside of it first as I'm sure quality control is not paramount on a $20 case. All physical buttons can be used while the gopro is inside the case. The touchscreen cannot be used while it is inside the case. Note that you will need to get a pass-thru battery door for your gopro as well or the battery will fall out if you bump it while inside the case.

Really well made and effective protection. Connections kept dry and secure on my Spyder in the worse downpours. Hard to beat for the cost
