Adapters feature heavy-duty stamped and formed steel construction with a corrosion resistant black powder coat finish for superb strength and long-term durability. Roof rack adapters mount easily onto factory rain gutters with just simple hand tools (no drilling required) - precision manufacturing tolerances and exact fit design ensure a no-hassle installation process. Kit includes four brackets plus all necessary mounting hardware, fasteners, and nylon paint protectors for a damage free installation (Surco Safari/Adventure crossbars and/or roof rack not included - adapter kit only). Engineered and manufactured right here in America to the highest quality standards for enhanced performance and durability. Fits most vehicles with roof rain gutters. AGM100 features a 5-1/2" rise. Perfect for my 97 Dodge B2500 van. Leaves inch space between rails I attached and roof for cargo, ladders, etc. If need more clearance suggest ordering the taller 8 inch mounts.
