If you want a way to keep your boards off the floor on your garage, there might be less expensive options. I used these to hang an old board in my house for decoration. They look great, but probably protrude from the wall more than necessary. My primary complaint is the screw holes for attaching the mounts to the wall are horizontal. So, if you have drywall in your house, you can anchor one screw in a stud, but the other has to go into the drywall.

We have a surfboard that's been propped up against a wall for years as a decoration that gets occasional use as well. It looks cool but keeps getting shuffled around when we need to get to wherever it's sitting. I decided it was time to get something to hang it up on the wall. These wall hangers were very easy to install and the board feels sufficiently supported to stay on the wall while allowing us to take it down easily enough when we want to hit the waves. I'm happy with the purchase.

Poor quality product, lots of marks across the surface of each hooks.Both hooks are noticeable a different colour from one another. Overall would not recommend.
