I got the dark wood ones about 6 or so years ago and absolutely loved them. At the time they only had one hole in them to attach them to the wall, these new ones have two making it even more sturdy especially if you just use 50lb dry wall hangers instead of finding a stud. These are a 10 out of 10 for me, hold up great, the cork padding for under the board stays in place and in tact. These look great as display racks and super easy to install, and sturdy for long boards. Worth the few extra bucks over the cheap ones out there. I absolutely love these and if I get more boards these are my go too!

This seller really cares about the quality and appearance. I use these in what I call the board room. Four of my boards hang there on display. They have just the right angle out form the wall so I am not worried about them falling. The color of the wood and construction of these are like furniture so I am happy with the way they look too.

Our walls were plaster on brick, so I bought the appropriate anchors at Home Depot, and these handle the load perfectly. Easy to install. Normal drywall anchors can handle around 30 lbs (I think), so considering that you have two supports for one board, I would think that these, with drywall anchors, should be able to handle almost any board. There are also two holes providing different widths for loading the boards, and two peg-lengths. For a SUP, ideally, you might want to put the board on the narrow-width pegs, and then have space for your paddle, but I thought the board was a little big for fitting in behind the narrow-width peg -- I didn't like the angle the board rested at. I wanted the board to lean towards the wall more.I think you could mount a board and paddle if you really wanted to, but we chose to go with short pegs on the wider notch for ease of loading/unloading.Nice looking product when unloaded, too.

I was a little hesitant on getting these as many of these racks are built for smaller boards. In addition the description for the product in the packaging says each rack should have no more than 30lbs (might have been 15 each I can't quite recall) of weight on it. My long board is decently heavy, but they have supported it without any problems for a month or so now.Fantastic Buy. They look very aesthetic and compliment my room nicely.Other notes:The mounts do leave a light colored residue on the drywall if they move much after mounting which they probably will. I am assuming this could be washed off, but I haven't tried. I ended up putting some scotch tape on the back side that sits on the wall to try to alleviate this. They occasionally resonate with some of the barely noticeable sounds in the apartment, but this goes away with some slight adjustment.
