As I have gotten older, my backside has gotten flatter. My solution for that for years has been to cinch my belt tighter and tighter. I recently starting having some lower back pain in the back hip area. Tightening the belt seemed to make it worse, so I decided to try suspenders. The belt loop type of suspenders are great for wearing under your shirt, so that the shirt can be worn untucked. I have tried with plastic clips, and this with the metal belt loop clips. I like these better. Belt loop suspenders simplify certain bathroom demands, and these are wonderfully comfortable due to the wider webbing and the sturdy construction. I like them, and I believe that if you want to wear suspenders that all you to wear certain shirts untucked, you will like them too.

I gave five stars for my first pair. The adjuster broke and disappeared. I like them well enough to order another pair. I like that they do not fall onto my shoulder like other suspenders. But this is the last chance for this manufacturer.

They are designed well. No flimsy clips that come undone at the wrong time. The design pattern is very stylish and you can't go wrong with this.

I have some leather suspenders that are near their end of life. I bought these suspenders to replace them. I chose these because they use a clasp hook that quickly hooks into belt loops instead of clamps that grip onto pants. I'm always scared clamps are going to come undone and take out an eye from the elastic suspender snap back. I was actually worried that these suspenders wouldn't hold my pants up as well as my leather suspenders, but they do an adequate job.The metal claps are rather narrow, so I suspect I'll be wearing out the belt loops even quicker that I do with my heavier gauge hooks on my leather suspenders. Of course, the hook clasps don't have a thumb catch to help open the hook, so that's a little annoying. But given how little I move the suspenders, this can be tolerate.When these eventually wear out, I'd like to say I'd buy them again. However, I'll looking for suspenders where the hook clasp has a thumb latch to make opening them easier and quicker.

I am new to suspenders having been wearing them for four years. My starter pair are much narrower than these and stretched out. I was intrigued by the clips that hook to the belt loops. They are very well made and the elastic straps are wide. I found the single strap in the back as well as the clip swivels made if difficult to get them on with out help. The x configuration of the more conventional suspenders and the fact they do not swivel and lay flat, I find makes them easier to use and about half the price.

Easy to put on. I like that they are a 3 strap suspenders. very comfortable. I am 77 and I wonder why I didn't buy these a long time ago!

Most suspenders use clips to attach to the waistband of the pants. The clips have a tendency to slip off, especially as they get older. These use a different kind of clip, which attach to belt loops. No slipping off here. I'm a big guy (6'3" and heavy set) and they still fit perfectly.
