This hose extension is constructed very well. Purchased it to extend my Garmin T2 transmitter. No leaks when using the swivel.Would purchase again.

I bought this so that I could use it with my Shearwater Swift Transmitter and the spool and hose fit correctly with no air leaks. I wanted to use a short HP hose to avoid others from using my transmitter as a carry handle and this looks like it will get the job done. Pretty easy to install and we'll see how it holds up for this year's dive season!

If you dig deep enough on Shearwater's web site you find the recommended spool to be 21 x 4.25 mm. Which is exactly the size of the spool included with this hose. Everything fits perfectly, the hose is top quality Miflex, the transmitter end is a swivel. The price is great. Couldn't be happier.

Updating this review to 4 stars - because as I previously reviewed, the quality of the assembly is very good. I would have revised to 5 star, but Suunto loses one for nonexistent documentation with this. They document the need for a swivel joint (and include one ) packaged with new pod transmitters. A little card inserted with the hose informing someone of that requirement would have been very helpful. Further, if their online support was navigable and actually informative it would have been a win from the start.
