I'm using this to attach a small Skywatcher EvoGuide 50 on my EQ mount for widefield astrophotography. The SVBONY plate is a good fit for this short mini-telescope. I was able to attach the plate to the mounting base that came with the EvoGuide using the 1/4 20 threaded holes. This plate was just what I was looking for, at an affordable price.

Hole spacing, slot length, and overall length of rail are a perfect match for Coronado PST. Thread of included screws is a baffling choice and they should have included 1/4"-20 screws. As it is I had to improvise with what I had and damaged the slot. Still have to go to the hardware store and find mounting screws that actually match the rail.

These are just what I needed to finish up my new telescope. The plates are exactly 120mm long by 15mm tall and can handle a tube shape on both sides. I mounted a finder scope to my SVBONY 503 120mm and am very happy with the setup. The mounts have a 33mm x 6mm slot, it also has two 1/4" holes that are 17mm apart on one end and two threaded holes, one that's 1/4" x 20 NC and one that is 8mm 1.25. These come with 2, 4mm 1.0 and a 5mm allen wrench.

I have to buy from Amazon instead of Ebay because Svbony blocked me from purchases. I reviewed a purchase from Svbony on Ebay, that was accurate and impartial. They chose to block me forever. I buy, sell, and repair telescopes and would like to buy a lot from them, but can't. So, I go here to Amazon to make my purchases. It's great equipment and priced fairly. I just wish they would unblock me on Ebay.

I used this to mount a Twinstar newtonian to my Sky-Watcher AZ-GTi mount. It works great and is just what I needed. I did have to use my own screws and nuts; the ones that are included don't fit my application.

Well made product that fits my Meade LX85's female vixen holder. Be aware that the screws included are NOT 1/4 inch 20 thread that are used on most DSLR cameras. You will have to provide your own 1/4 inch screw yourself.

I used this for my C80-HD scope to mount it on my CG5. Used the existing tube rings to bolt it on, works perfect. Best deal ever!

The Universal 1/4"-20 threaded socket is not counterbored the way the 4mm holes are. The 3-stars are because, for a telescope, the dovetail it's rather limiting. I have a Celestron reflector and there is no space under the mount for protruding screws. No doubt you could find some screws which would fit those very shallow countersunk holes. But my recommendation would be to find a dovetail which is counterbored in all the holes. If svbony had provided screws for all holes and they did not protrude under the dovetail what would have been acceptable, because it would have been an all-in-one solution. I can hunt for screws or just purchase a different dovetail. Maybe this dovetail was not designed for scopes but it sounded good in the marketing meeting. You can attach a camera, but then you will need a reducer for the camera. So all round, this product is suspect in terms of intended use.

What i wanted was a Dovetail bar to mount my D-SLR Camera to my telescope Mount. This advertisement gave me the impression that this came with, not one but two 1/42 bolts. They are not!* Pros: Decent Dovetail bar, about the right size...* Cons: ... but could be wider to accept/fit Telephoto Lens' Tripod Foot. Could have 1/4" Bolt for said mounting purpose. It is really difficult, near impossible, to find any 1/4" Bolts of the correct Thread in any hardware shops these days, so very frustrated with this purchase. Hence only 3* !
