This is my third Sven saw! The first one left with my first wife. A wonderful woman. Still miss her.I bought the second soon after. Stayed sharp and functional for over forty years. I lost it in my woods recently so I ordered another. It is exactly like the first two. Love it!

Nice packing saw...used it over the weekend for some winter camping.....pick up wood was wet from snow and ice...axe would not hack it sooooo out from my bag O tricks came the Sven Saw...... Quick as a wink had a fire and warmth!Excellence all the way.Mike

I took this saw on a hike to a cabin in the White Mountains. We needed to cut fire wood for a wood stove. The saw worked great and I was glade I had it as the saw provided at the cabin was dull and ineffective. It is light weight and folds so it fits an a pack no problem. I read in a Field and Stream magazine that a saw is an important survival tool to carry into the woods. This one is perfect

My first purchase of this saw was from a different supplier who sold me a factory second. This item- from this seller was spot on. Folds very compact, easy to pack, simple to assemble and cuts well. Don't buy from any other seller than this one!

Sturdier than expected but heavier too. Not as light as a Sawvivor or Bahco Laplander. Will make my son-in-law carry in his pack. Pro- quality construction and size allow larger wood to be harvested. Con- weight.

This saw is very sturdy, durable, and compacts down to a nice easy-to-store size. When unfolded it sports a standard durable wood-saw blade that doesn't rattle, shift, or work loose. Even folded up it can be tightened to a secure, non-rattling state of safety. Cuts wood like you'd expect a standard non-folding wood saw.
