This worked for my Panasonic but I had to file one part of the cable down due to Panasonic's notch. Once filed down, it worked great with no issues.

I've tried so hard to get color out of this cable from my 2004 Sony handycam to my computer, but it doesn't even show up in Color at all. Even when I put it in my RCA to HDMI converter, it still shows up in black and white. Buyer beware if you're trying to digitize your hi8 tapes.

This will be an awkward review but let me explain. I guess it works. *Shrug* I have exactly one s-video out device (old video camera) and one s-video input (video capture card).Now the card works with RCA plugs so I know that partially works. The camera works with composite out so that works. I can't verify whether the cable does or doesn't work. So I'll have to give them the benefit of the doubt until I can prove otherwise.
