seems well made with a nice weight to it and closely packed straight pins. i got this and a beginner's book on ikebana and i'm pleasantly surprised how long the flowers of my first attempt have stayed looking fresh using the kenzan ( do the pins sticking into the stems help the flowers absorb water longer? ) . Regardless, l like the results better than using florist's foam or just the support of the vase.

It is a well made Kenzan and I have used it quite a few times. I also like that a pin straightener was included. Very nice.

Love that it is heavy and easy to arrange flowers with. I’ve only had it for a few weeks so not sure if it will rust. So far so good though.

I tried one of these for the first time and was happy with how it allowed me to make a pretty arrangement. The flowers died quickly, but that may have been not enough water on my end. After cleaning the product well after using it, it seems that the metal is tarnishing a bit (see photo). It has some weight to it which is good if you’re going to use a large vase.

Holds a bunch of thicker plant pieces really quite well, and the base being covered in rubber or silicone (whatever it is) really helps anchor it to the bottom of the vessel and not allow it to slip around, which I really appreciate. I had also got some smaller pin frogs from another seller that were just metal at the bottom and they definitely slip and slide around, but now that I own this bigger pin frog I'm realizing what a great addition it is.

This is heavy weight and holds the flowers well. Came with a tool to clean off the spikes after use. Perfect for what I needed
