I ordered this oscillating fan to keep in my bedroom. It does a great job keeping me cool at night. It’s easy to setup and use. The fan is pretty quiet and not super noisy, more of just a soft hum.

Keep in mind this is extremely easy to move around and facilitate it's cooling needs.Does it do a good job? absolutely.There is however some attention it needs in order to be a free standing, no leaking, and cooling conditioner. Mainly you need to keep the supplied (get a back up set) of ice packs that you put in the top to get the cold air. Depending on how hot your room is, those need to be swapped out, or refrozen, about 3 hours per session. The remote is perfect, the controls on the device are easy. Timer is great so you don't run it all night long and go through all the water. I set it for about 3 hours before sleep. It has option for dispersing the air side to side or just straight. The movable vents help position the cool bliss directly on target.The one negative aspect is that you need to maintain the water level when using cooling. There's a window at the bottom to see MIN and MAX - I cant' see through the tinted window. I've used a flashlight, still it's almost impossible to gauge the water level. I rock it to see movement but that should be crystal clear visibility, or a light, something. Other than that, A+

This is a large cooler/fan!Our AC units went down this summer for about 3 weeks!It was so hot in the house!First-- this fan/cooler is so easy to use and set up! I was incredibly impressed with how fast it moved the air around the room! There are plenty of settings to meet everyone's needs!If you want cold air blowing and moving-- you need to fill the reservoir with water-- and then turn on to the cool settings. Even in the hottest of weather-- I was not adding water everyday. You can see on the bottom of the fan if the water level is running low-- and you can easily add water to the fan while it is running.One misconception I had--was that it would send water vapor into the air-- like sort of like a mist-- because all the pictures had water droplets flying-- but that is not how this works-- the air is actually cooled by the water.It comes with two ice packs-- to place on the top of the fan-- to cool the water? I used them twice and did not feel a difference in the coolness of the air blowing from the fan.This is a great fan/cooler! And it saved us this summer in the heat!

I have mixed feelings about this portable swamp cooler. It's not an air conditioner; it's more like a fan that blows cool air. I ordered it for my husband's room, which gets the hottest. My husband does not like using the air conditioner downstairs and keeps it at 80. The coolest temperature we have seen it get to is 74 degrees, and that's when he put the ice packs in it. Otherwise, it keeps the air cooled to about 77 or 76 degrees. Keep in mind that this is not the room temperature (which is hotter) but the air blowing on him. This may not be your best option if you are trying to cool down an entire room. The air does feel great when it's blowing on you if it's cooler than the room temperature. The unit has wheels and rolls, which is excellent, but it's also quite tall and takes up more space than I'd like.

Love this swamp cooler as we have ours in between the kitchen and dining area and it does extremely well cooling while cooking and eating. Fill it up with water it holds plenty 4.2Gal which last a good long time depending on how high a setting you put on as it has several to choose from. It also oscillates from left to right and comes with 4 ice packs as well to further help with cooling or you can just add ice cubes and it lowers the temp/air even more. Comes with handy remote as well as wheels to help move it around to your desired location with ease.

The Landeagle Swamp Cooler is a great air cooler for home use. It features a large water tank for easy refilling and can be operated with a remote control. However, it's not as effective when used with ice, and the fan is quite noisy. Despite these drawbacks, considering its current price and quality, I still believe it's a good option.

I'm very satisfied with this unit. It is more than a fan, but not quite an air conditioner. Monitor the water levels and keep up with rotating the ice packs out and it will greatly help cool off the room. This is perfect for people who live in super hot areas and need a little extra help.

great design.... for low humidity, you can reallly drop the air tempthen, add the included ice packs for increased coooling ! Brilliant...they dont last long, so expect to keep re freezing, but they help a lotthe unit is made good considering the price and size.. easy to operate and does the job it supposed to do....love the ice pack feature !!!no real issues, 4.5 stars, recommended....
