It is 15 February 2025. I ordered 50 of these imitation wax seals and have used several. They are a pre-formed seal in a gold type material with an embossed initial and decoration.As I have traditional sealing wax and seals I wanted to see how these would look as a quick substitute. I did a test envelope to make sure the adhesive on that back could weather the use of being mailed. I sent a letter to myself with the seal and it arrived perfectly in place with no cracks or breaks.While these seals do not look exactly the same as the real ones created with sealing wax and an embossing seal, they are a reasonable alternative at a good price, colour, size, and function.

Added that extra embellishment for invitations for a hogwarts themed party. Easy to use and look great. They held up well and we mailed them all over the country in the heat of the summer.

Traditional wax seals will break in the mail sorting machines, these seals are easier to use than wax seals and will survive the postal system. And they add a little of the old age class.
