This level is wonderful. Not only is this level lighter than the Klein levels that it looks almost identical too, (and is way cheaper), but the magnet and durability of this level are only a notch below the Klein torpedo level that it looks like. Now, this isn't near as strong durability wise nor are the magnets quote that "sticky," but as I said, they come dang close. I dropped my level from the top of a sky lift onto concrete flooring the first day and all it had was a little dent on one of the top (non magnet side) edges. For the price and what these levels go through on the job, for my money this Swanson level is the better buy. Why? Because not only is it pretty darn close to the Klein torpedo level, but it's economical pricing means if it does get lost or somehow destroyed, it's no big deal to replace it. If you absolutely need perfection in your torpedo level; one that is going to stick like super glue and withstand dozens and dozens of drops onto concrete, (and you know you wont lose it), buy the Klein. However, if you just need a very strong magnet (not super glue levels like the Klein but still very good), and are confident you might only drop the level 10-20 times on hard concrete, and realize you are prone to/might lose it within 1 or 2 years, the Swanson is perfect for you. The Swanson is still an expertly crafted and is quite a bit cheaper than the top/prefered (and expensive) level out there so buy it and don't worry about caring for it. This nice piece of equipment will do just as good a job and doesn't come with all the worry that you might develop over a more expensive investment.

Why buy multiple flimsy plastic levels when this bad boy will last a lifetime?Seriously solid construction on this level, I wouldn't have a single reservation bringing it on any job site (other than it being stolen because of how nice it is). Looks like machined aluminium faces with an epoxy glue holding the glass gauges in. Magnet is adequately strong for the purpose, won't fall off the work but you won't have to fight it to get it off either.Electricians may find it more useful than others with the built-in conduit angle levels. I don't bend conduit much but this thing is just as good for general purpose leveling as it is for specialty conduit bends.5/5 would buy again for myself or as a gift to others.

It’s great cause it fits anywhere and the magnets are strong. But one of the magnets isn’t sticking to the level anymore only reason for giving it the 4 stars plus I’m pretty sure I had one like this with more magnets than this one but I guess it’s why this one was a bit cheaper

For the money, this is a great little level. Klein makes a similar one for three times the price. I don't like paying top dollar for my tools, the risk of breaking them, losing them, or having them stolen on a job site is too great, so I prefer to buy mid-range items like this. The orange color is nice and bright so that it's easier to see in a dimly lit construction site. This model works just as well as more expensive brands, the magnets are holding up well and it's bubbles are accurate.

Seems like a sturdy product. Shows level.. That's important.I like the compact size, I was forever getting in spots where my 6in level just wouldn't fit. Seldom happens now.Not the strongest magnets I've had but more than adequate. Sometimes magnets can actually seem too strong where you have to fight the level to remove it. This is a nice medium.

My only complaint is that a Klein level has much stronger magnets. The magnets on this tool work fine, but the Klein magnets are ridiculous.
