The material of the hoodie is thick and soft at the same time. It's comfy and my daughter loves it too wear it to her school. She can wear it over her tee and it keeps her warm throughout the day!

As well as this fit my granddaughter, it did come with some disappointment. The fleece material is not as soft as I expected, and the pink color is a bit faded, not as vivid or bright as one would expect a pink colored jacket to be. Otherwise, it fits her well and keeps her warm on those outdoor events.

I grabbed this for my son and I'm happy to say it works just fine. You really can't tell it has been marketed for girls. The material is soft, lightweight, and comfortable, making it ideal for layering. Usually the kid hates pullovers because his (ahem giant) head gets stuck. But this one has the half-zip which makes that a non issue.
