I love lounging in the water, especially when I'm mostly submerged. I have a water hammock but it's only good for calm waters like in a lake or pool. I like the foam noodles but they are not ideal for taking on an airline given their length and inability to compress down. I purchased these gems for a 2 1/2 week trip to Colombia and they survived the use from 4 adults ranging in weight from 90-180lbs. Despite being rolled/unrolled, folded and hastily shoved into backpacks, beach bags, dry bags and multiple uses in pools, rivers and the ocean they came back home unscathed! The guys didn't want to use them at first but after some time in the water they soon wanted to "share"... then before you knew it they were off floating on their own =) These toys are geared towards children but considering they can aid in floating the weight of two adults at once (about 250# -300#) I'd say it's not just for kids. Some of the doodles are straight and some are wavy, but the shape didn't make a difference for our use in the water. We made sure to not overfill them with air so it was still easy to bend them without fear of damaging them. Our favorite ways of using them was like a chair without a seat (placing the middle of the doodle behind your back and draping your arms over the "arms" that curve (or can be made to curve) toward your front. Bonus position we discovered if you are of short stature (I'm 5'2 and the other female travel companion that tried this method is about 5'4) and want more more of your body out of the water and/or closer to the sun ~whilst in the water put the doodle in a C-shape (a small portion of the tip goes behind the neck so your head rests on top of the doodle, then curve the remainder of the doodle in a "C" shape so the lower portion rests behind the bend of your legs) *some water wobbles will undoubtedly occur while trying to achieve this, but it's worth the trouble once you figure it out =DBeing inflatable they pack wonderfully, the bright colors make them easy to spot, and they blow up/deflate fairly well. Of the 6 I only took 4 on our trip (all the blue and red ones) not sure why, but our group thought 2 of the four seemed easier to blow up/deflate than the others *not so much as to be a real issue. Like some inflatables these have the special valves with an inner flap that, while making them retain air better, it may also make blowing/deflating them a little tricky. Most people probably know this already, but just in case ~this minor issue is easily resolved by merely pinching the valve when blowing them up or deflating. Deflation can be hastened by rolling the end down (the end opposite of the valve) while pinching the valve to expel air quickly. My only regret is that I didn't discover these sooner. Happy buyer, would buy again and highly recommend.

I bought these inflatable noodles after seeing some other guests on our cruise use them at the beach. The fold totally flat and thought they’d be fantastic to pack when traveling. However, the first two noodles we pulled out the pack were defective and would not hold air. One of them also had a really tough edge as if the seam had not been fabricated correctly. No need to try the others in the pack. I’m so disappointed because I had high hopes for these.

I bought the 6 pack of noodles in May 2015 for a cruise. They have gone on at least 4 cruises, 2 trips to Puerto Rico and a week in Mexico over the past 9 years. All 6 still inflate, hold air and roll up nicely. We store them rolled in a net bag in our basement between trips. I would recommend these for their convenience and portability.

We bought these to take on a family trip where the vacation house has a pool. Taking a bunch of foam noodles was not an option given their size/bulk, so we decided to try these. They are easy to blow up (I used a small electric pump given I was inflating 12 of them.) When they are blown up all the way (to where the plastic is very tight), they are just a buoyant as foam noodle. The only downside to these is that the plastic is not very thick and I could see them developing tears/holes reasonably easily. We had a couple of noodles (out of 2 packages) that did not stay inflated. I'm frankly not sure if this was because they were defective, user error in filling them up or if they developed a leak due to rough play. We had more than we needed, so I didn't really care.Bottom line, these are easy to transport, float well, but not going to last forever. At roughly $2 per noodle, they are just great to use for as long as they last and then discard them.

I purchased these for my 6 year old son's pool party in March. I was worried they would not be strong enough like a real noodle or that you could not use them like the foam noodles. But, I was so wrong. Doodles can do everything noodles can do but then when you are finished playing with them you dry them, deflate them, roll them up and you could carry all six in you purse or beach bag. We have since taken them with us on trips to use at hotel pools. They do not take very long to blow up about as long as a ring toy or a little faster. Adults can sit on them. Kids can carry them. They can handle rough play. My niece who is 9 would throw it in the pool then jump on it like it was a horse and it worked great. I bought one six pack and gave half to may sister for her three kids to use at the pools on her way home. I cannot wait to add these to our beach bag they take little to no room to store and a few seconds to blow up. I love Doodles! The seller also shipped them quickly and packaged them well. They were perfect!

These are great to travel with on vacation. Pretty easy to inflate and work great for pools and beach days. Only issue was 1 of the 6 already had a hole in it out the package and didn't discover it until we used it at the beach.

I was skeptical at first but these are a winner for our family! The Good:-Easy to blow up.-Holds air really well-Holds up really well to kids bending and jumping on in the pool-Deflates for easy storage-Super light and easy to maneuverThe Bad:-Haven't found anything as of yetThe first one I blew up lost air fairly quickly but I found that I didn't have the plug in tight.I was a bit concerned about the curly noodles as I've only ever used straight noodles. The kids love both but I've found that the curly noodles are especially great for behind your back and under the knees for floating.Overall these are a really neat alternative to the traditional pool noodle.

I brought the inflatables to Bali for my family but unfortunately all can’t be used as it has got a small holes which air can escape. Everything was thrown in a trash.

The noodles were relatively small in diameter. For an adult to use them, more than one was necessary. Given the cost, I would not purchase again.
