I am a retired line technician with 35 years of dealership experience. My specialty was front-end suspension and engines. I have never in my life seen a more incomplete set of CV boots.When my package arrived, I actually didn't think it was the CV boots I ordered. The box they used to ship them to me was huge and inside the big box was another box. Once I opened the second box, I saw the CVboots I purchased. If they would save some money on packaging, maybe they could include everythingyou will need to do this job.The CV boots themselves are good but the clamps are cheap and they don't include the small bolts, nuts, washers, and grease needed to finish the job. Your old bolts won't work since these boots are for 64' to 68' model VW bugs and if original, your bolts will break as you take them out. I wouldn't expect anything less since they are nearly 40 years old. Without grease in the CV boot, your CV joint will overheat and lock up.So not only are the boots overpriced, the kit is incomplete! You will have to spend another 40 dollars on the missing parts, drive to your local auto parts store, and try to match up the bolts you will need, My advice- DON'T WAST YOUR MONEY!

Look good but they just split and crack then leak. This is the second set in one year. They feel good and flexible but after they are on the car they harden up and are not pliable. Then crack and split open.

nice quality, good price. the color was just one of the cheaper choices for whatever reason. i couldn't care less, i usually don't crawl under the bug to admire the colorful axle boots ;). anyway good product.

they really stand out hopefully there will be NO leaks but I like the way the colour stands out against the engine.
