In the accounting office of my travel agencies we use and remove 10s of thousands of staples every month. Believe it when I say we have bought and tried every staple puller ever made; and for the quickest and easiest removal of (standard-sized) staples this brand/model beats all others.All of the other tools that -look- like this one are cheaply made and will not last. Don't believe me, go ahead and buy one of these and then any one of the many others offered here. Then use each one to remove a couple of staples - thats all it will take for you to ralize why i made that claim. You'll only keep this one, and your bookkeepers will love you for it!!! Buy one for each employee, even if they don't work in accounting.Oh, and they last, and last, and LAST! You wont have to replace one of these for decades! 😎

This is the best staple remover was ever made. It's very important for me because I had so many other ones before. It is extremely important to have a simple staple remover that does it's simple job precise without tearing paper apart or make staples fly.This is the last one you ever need, thank you Swingline!

I needed a new staple remover (aka "jaws of life") for my office because the points on the old one were worn down. I bought this one because it is easier to hold, and it works great and better than the old one. Now I want to buy one for my home office.

I know, like the first time I saw a Rubik's cube, I just sat and stared at this thing for about five minutes to figure out how it works. At first, I thought I received the wrong shipment: I thought this was some sort of unpopular female grooming device. I called Amazon customer support and a really smart agent, Hareesh, told me how to use it. Many thanks, Hareesh from New Delhi.It works by gripping the staple with those jaw-like teeth, then this device gently plucks staples out of paper. Already used staples loosen their pincer grip on the paper, and fall out like thin metal whiskers from a giant robot or something. The staples, alas, cannot be re-used. A suggestion for a future version of this device would be to somehow crimp the staple when it's being withdrawn from the paper to be re-used in some fashion. That would make the device more ecologically friendly. I took a star off my rating because if even I, who has been using this now for about three minutes, can think of ways to make it better, then something is definitely wrong in Who-ville. Plus the fact that it only comes in one color, black. I think a rainbow of colors would be reasonable and would make this a focal point of the desktop. For instance, I would have chosen fuschia, if it was a choice.All in all, though, it gets the job done. It takes staples out of paper. I stopped using my toenail clippers to get staples out of papers now. I wish it had a letter opener and maybe a Scotch tape dispenser build in...or better yet, a stapler! The pulled out staples could somehow go back into the stapler and be reused on the spot, you know, like when you put the staple in at a funny angle and you wish you could re-do it. Well, you could, if my idea works. If the manufacturer wants to take my ideas and run with them, that's fine, I don't need any money. You can just name it after me.

This staple remover has saved me from some horrible staples. I don't know how else to put it. I needed things apart. The staples would sometimes gang up and hold things together. I have even seen staples on both sides as though they have the paper I need apart in some sort of death grip.Before, I was frustrated. I would break nails and use flat head screw drivers... but to no avail. My time was wasted and my hair would ruined for the day. The staples had won.Now with my handy black Swingline Deluxe Staple Remover, the staples run in terror. The teeth on this thing are very staple specific... they just rip into the staple and leave just a small 2 holes where the staple once was. They even work great on the staples that hide on the back of large documents. I am so glad I found you Swingline Deluxe Staple Remover.When they are not fighting staples they work great getting keyring to open wide to accept new keys.It is important to note that though these will save you and unshackle your paper... they can also be very dangerous... do not let their gentle demeanor fool you. Kids can see through this and help you see this Staple Remover as the monster it can be... treat it with respect and it will serve you.
