This is the second one I’ve purchased. First was for ourselves, this one is for a gift. It is sturdy and works well to prepare the fondue on the stove then transfer it to the table with canned heat to keep warm. I wish the white color had been available when we bought our first one.

Love it so far, have only had it for a week and made a cheese fondue and chocolate fondue both were wonderful. The pot cleaned up by hand easy and we stocked up on the fire gel you need to light it, which after searching around found at the hardware store.

I was really excited for this. Product is defective. It looks as if surface wasn’t entirely free of debris before glazing was applied. On first use, small nub from what should be a smooth finish of ceramic broke off. Only used a wooden spoon, no metal utensils. Trying now to return. I try to buy quality products that last, knowing they carry a higher price tag. I hate having to mess around with returns. I just want a decent product, is that too much to ask nowadays? I liked that it was more eye appealing for entertaining than using a cast iron pot. I expected better. Back to LaCreuset it is.

The product is way too big for cheese fondue. You would need double recipe to use. If you are uncertain, do not buy. the experience with seller was very difficult. I ended paying to return. once I had ship back they then offered to pick up. too late I had spent the money to return.
