This is a direct replacement thermal switch to the Polaris unit, except without the high markups. This unit is located on the bottom of the radiator on the right hand side and controls the cooling fan operation.

The sensor fit perfectly, had the correct wire plug type. However, it only lasted for one ride. Don’t waste your money, get a good one.
