These hoops are for light items. They will not last on anything heavy. I made a bag for my son and within 3 months one of the hooks broke. I replaced it and the other one broke within 1 week. He carries his umbrella and a bottle of water in the bag. I like them for small, light items but be careful with bulkier stuff.
