I needed something light and small so it can be easily carried with to work or to trips. This umbrella is perhaps the most compact one I was able to find. It is manually pulled out, but it holds well. I used it on a fairly windy weather and it worked well.

I live in Florida so I constantly have to deal with random rain showers. I bought this umbrella because it fit in a fanny pack I bought, it’s super tiny. It folds down to like the size of my hand. I will say it’s not a very sturdy umbrella, obviously you compromise a little bit of the sturdiness for the size. I haven’t had any issues with it recently, it works pretty well. It fits in all my bags, however, when it pours, I definitely get wet because of how small the umbrella is.

I purchased this because it folds up small and fits in my coat pocket. Unfortunately, it broke the 4th time I used it. The handle just popped right out of the umbrella and could not be fixed.Don't believe the positive reviews. Don't buy this product and get stranded in the pouring rain like I did. This thing is a cheap piece of junk.

EDIT: The umbrella also did not hold up in wind, flipped inside out a lot which made it a little hard to use during vacation. That said, the seller immediately send me a replacement which I will try out next time it rains here at home. I have to compliment the seller for quick response and sending a replacement so quickly. Hoping the new one does better. Still really like the size and lookThe plus: light, small, nice pattern on the inside. Handle comfortable. Held up well in light wind but heavy rain.The minus: Used it twice now and not for very long, already showing little tears poking through. I can tell because the color from the pattern inside is now starting to poke through to the outside where the hinges touch the material. I'm not hard on it, and literally have used it twice for an hour or so each time, then just folded it shut and wrapped the velcro around it. Pics attached. I am afraid it will continue to damage and create little leak holes.A bit hard to roll out, maybe it will wear in. And not as "flat" as other travel umbrellas, but the size is pretty nice overall.

I just took delivery of this umbrella (today 17Jan25) and found that the actual length is not as advertised.Your description states the umbrella length is 7.64 inches.The one I received is 10 inches (over a full 2 inches longer) so it is not as compact as I expected.I will keep it but, am very disappointed with the false advertising, as I particularly wanted a smaller umbrella.

Absolute waste of money. I bought this based on all the positive reviews. Wish I’d just read the one star reviews as they’re more accurate. This umbrella is so difficult to open that you’d be drenched by the time you finally got it open.

The umbrella is very good size, ideal for carrying in backpack pocket. a little bit flimsier than I expected, I hope it goes well in wind, as I am not sure how flexible it is. Ok so far.
