I've used both powders and liquids for pre-emergent application and this bottle is a good value for its size. I typically do a split application, dependent on the weather each year, to prevent crabgrass and other broadleaf weeds on 6k sq/ft of lawn. Seems to be effective as this past season (2024) I had very little broadleaf incursion in the treated areas.

If you have ever tried to get Nutsedge out of your mulch beds, this product does the trick. I have mixing this with Roundup and it works at eliminating nutsedge and just about anything else from your mulch beds.

This pre-emergent liquid was applied on patio pavers in the Spring. Nothing came up in the cracks all summer. One suggestion, Please put a proportion formula on the package. It was a guessing game to decide how much water to liquid to mix. I ended up with 4 water to 1 part liquid.

Even though this seems a little pricy for the amount of product, it works so it is worth it. I can’t say this particular bottle has worked but this is my 2nd or third time ordering because it works.

Applied product with the correct concentration with blue indicator in the correct manner. I have numerous weeds in areas that were sprayed less than a month ago. Not happy.

I bought this to have a pre-emergent that I could apply without applying fertilizer again. I wanted to protect against crab grass, which emerges later in the summer when fertilizer should not be applied. The reason for the mediocre rating is that I have made two applications this summer and I still have some crabgrass in the areas treated. It is true that I probably have less than I would have had I not treated, but I think the preemergent that Scotts (Halts) makes is probably just as or more effective (but it is also fertilizer). I still have several plants that I have to pull each week to keep the crabgrass at bay. Yes, I read all the instructions and applied accordingly. FYI, the mfr makes strong recommendations about protective equipment and clothing to be worn while applying. I followed these recommendations as well. Again, just FYI. I applied this product using a pump sprayer.I do not know if I would buy this product again. I was disappointed in its effectivenessI
