I prune lots of roses and use this device exclusively for roses. Pruning with this device is a breeze, along with the 36-inch extension pole accessory (a separate purchase.). The blades operate in manner to reduce the potential of crushing canes while pruning. The pruner is light weight for a power device, and it balances well in the palm of the hand. The pruner is very durable, and cuts through 1 1/4 inch (maybe a little larger) with ease. As with all power pruners, the gardener must give extra attention to use to ensure safe use.I would highly recommend this tool to responsible gardeners.

The product is great. I’ve had one before no problem with that. The problem is with Amazon shipping a 6 foot long pole to my mailbox which they know will not work and forcing it to be a day late where I have to physically go to my post office to receive it. It should’ve been shipped a different way by Amazon. Amazon has let me down in the past on these types of things, and they did it again. But again the product is great.

The folding pole that comes with the pruner was not super stable. This new version (and we haven’t even used the telescoping aspect yet) is fantastic! A massive improvement. Super stable and comfortable on the hands. Easy to use.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟We cannot adequately express how great this TTOVIC company is. About 18 months ago we bought the electric pruner (with folding extendo pole). Love it saves getting a ladder out for so many things. But then had a little problem with the orange pruner part. Contacted support and they (Flora💞) were/was outstanding. She let us know we had a 24 month warranty (about which we had forgotten). So the solution for the pruner was beautifully handled by Flora/TTOVIC. We could not be more pleased with how respectful and honest and fair they treated us! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟At first, when we received this pole, we couldn’t get the battery to attach. Contacted Flora/support again and she said loosen two Phillips head screws and included a colored diagram! We did that and BAM. It is perfect.SO VERY HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT AND THIS COMPANY. TOP NOTCH

Very strong clipper. Cuts to the size you would expect with ease. Watch your fingers. It could take one off with no effort.Battery will last 4 to 6 hours at a very high cut rate cycle. Easy to learn the trigger commands to shorten the stroke, or lock the blades closed. Blades, especially the brass colored one is a bit soft. I dulled the blades after day and a half. About 2000 cuts on the counter cutting stone fuit trees. It still cut well but I like the blades to be sharp reducing damage to the twigs and branches being cut. Swapping blades would be simple if the blade axle pin was easy to remove. The instruction imply the pin is finger removable after you remove the keeper nut. I is not. You must press the pin out or carefully use a punch, and hammer out. Being careful to not loose washers and 2 needle bearing cages when the pin releases. This is an issue and there is no reason for the fit to be so tight.Another issue missed in the instruction…There is a small magnet that is housed in the steel colored blade. If you are swapping blades this magnet (easily missed) must be transferred to the new blade. There is no mention of this in the instructions. If you miss doing this step the blades will not stop in open position and your error out the system and could damage the housing.Bottom line. The tool is very good but needs a fix to the 6 point hole in housing to allow blade pin to freely be removed. Instructions need to be more detailed. Many will find blade change too difficult or damage the pin threads with present design. This would be a simple manufacturing correction.

This pruner is really great. The customer support is top-notch, too. The only thing to note is the battery is really, really hard to get on the first few times you use it (that's why we called customer support). It has since loosened up and is no problem now, but the first time we snapped it on we had to put the pruners in a vice grip to get enough torque to get the battery on - it's that difficult. Persevere and you'll love it. Makes pruning roses an absolute breeze.

No sure why but I can't get the extension pole to work.No power from the battery threw the pole to the tool.I guess I will return for a new one.I opened the trigger Handel and found a loose wire, made repairs and now works awesome.

I'm using this telescoping extension pole with the GPS51 pruning shears (25 volt). The extension pole works very well. It's solidly constructed and easy to adjust. The battery twists on at the bottom and the shears twist on at the top. I did have a minor problem with the locking tab on the shears disengaging from the pole. A piece of electrical tape over the locking tab solved that problem. For tree pruning I highly recommend this extension pole with the GPS51 shears.
