Great way to start playing with astrophotography. I had an E-PL8 Olympus camera lying around and recently I've been interested in astronomy, and naturally wanted to take some pictures, but using a phone is much harder. My telescope will only take 1.25" eyepieces and this T adapter ring worked perfectly to use my camera to take pictures. The item itself is made of metal, the thread attaches smoothly and overall feels high quality. The 1.25"-part threads into the 2" T ring, so I tried to attach a 2" thread eyepiece to it and it seemed to attach securely as well, but I could not test it with my telescope. I'll update my review if I'm ever able to test that.Very happy with the purchase and I would highly recommend it.

I had a cell phone mount for my telescope that was very difficult to frame just right to even see into the eyepiece. But this was simple to use. It attached to my Olympus EM5 camera easily. And fit just right into my telescope. Then it’s just a matter of focusing using my telescope. I’m very happy with the photos I am able to get with this.

First, I'd like to say that the build quality seems good, and it looks like it should work just fine. Unfortunately the threaded insert goes the wrong direction to allow any of my eyepieces to screw in, and is not usable.In the pictures I included, you can see in #1 where the adapter is in good condition. In #2 you can see the eyepiece currently attached to the telescope mount.In #3 I have attached the eyepiece to the opposite side that it needs to be attached to, the side that must be inserted into the telescope. This configuration is not useful.In #4 you can see where the eyepiece SHOULD be able to attach, so that when it is assembled it focuses light coming from the telescope onto the camera's sensor. This configuration is not possible though, as the threading goes the wrong way and rejects all of my eyepieces.In #5 you can see that it attaches to the camera correctly.

This is the second one of these that I've owned over the years. Well-made, all aluminum with a solid attachment. The two parts can be unscrewed to allow for either T-mount attachment directly to scope focuser or attached to an eyepiece that is male threaded on the end.
