I ordered this for a birthday party at church. The man serves on the volunteer fire department. I made a cake that looked like a house on fire, and had this for a table decoration. I may order more, as it gave us the idea for a smore party next month. REALLY nice. HIGHLY recommend.

We honestly haven’t tried it yet for the same reason as some of the other reviews.We received an email shortly after purchasing, telling us to immediately throw it away because it is very dangerous to use alcohol as a fuel for fire and has actually caused some small explosions and have harmed some people.Ssssooo we didn’t throw ours out yet… but are very nervous to use it, especially with a 4 year old and another baby due in a few months.

This is a fun little addition to our deck table. It doesn't like actually keep you warm but provides a nice ambience. My kids do try to roast marshmallows over it-so beware, but the cans last quite a while-just keep extra on hand!

This little mini firepit seemed very cool. Unfortunately, I received the following message on Christmas Eve."The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has recently issued a product safety warning stating that these products might violate the current voluntary safety standard and that continuing to use them could result in severe injury or death.The CPSC warning advises to immediately stop using these products due to the risk of death or serious injury: “fire pits are extremely dangerous and have been associated with two deaths and at least 60 injuries since 2019.â€If you still have this product, you should stop using it immediately and dispose of it. If you made this purchase for someone else, please notify the recipient immediately and provide them with this information."So much for that. Zero stars. Negative stars.

I went to put this together and couldn't figure out what the asbestos padding material in the alcohol cups was supposed to be used for because the instructions are super bare-bones and don't show the material at all. I see that a bunch of people got recall notices for this item, even though it is still for sale. I'm going to just pack it back up and put away to use for an emergency instead of as a daily warmer for chilly nights outside. It's nice and simple, but the directions make me nervous because I'm not sure how to use this safely.

This fire pit is the best on the market because of all that it comes with. Most of them just come with the stand, glass, rocks, extinguisher, and insert to hold the fuel. This one is better! These tabletop fire pits can get really hot and moving them can be a challenge but with all the much-needed accessories like the funnel, mitt to handle it when it's hot, extinguisher, rocks, and the clip, this one is the perfect one to own. I like that these rocks are smaller too than other fire pits. These are all over IG and are in a lot of videos showing off the calming aesthetic these can bring to a home. You need one (or a few!) YOu can use bioethanol fuel or isopropyl alcohol to burn in these. If the glass becomes full of soot, it's so simple to clean once it has cooled. Just wash in the sink with warm, soapy water and it's good as new (rocks too!)

I have a similar fire pit that looks identical to this one. The other one was $14 more. The only added value with the other one is that it came with 3 kinds of rocks (this one only comes with white rocks) and, it came with a silicone mat to keep under the fire pit. So, not exactly $14 more value. However, it can get pretty hot underneath, so be aware of what you put this on.To me, this is a very good value. I love watching the flames dance around.

It isn't really functional as an outdoor "firepit." A more on point description would be a table top tiki torch. It makes a good gag gift.
