Excellent value for the money. I have a Remington 870 Express Tactical (the one that's not quite "Tactical", with a 6+1 magazine), and it fits the base model very nicely. No issues as others have commented with room on racking the slide, but that's probably model-specific, so make sure that it fits yours before you buy. It feels very sturdy, and super easy to install after tapping out the bolts. The only issue with it so far is that the shells fit a bit too snug on the carrier, and are hard to get out right now, but I think that will correct itself once it gets some wear.One other bonus to this setup, at least to me: if you only have the forward dot sight on the tip of the barrel (as I do), the rail frame creates a line of sight tunnel above the receiver (looking down the barrel), and serves as a kind of poor man's ghost ring sight in combination with the front dot. I'm not of the school that you need sights on a shotgun (especially for home defense purposes), but this might be helpful for your aim if you're shooting slugs or something.

Perfect fit on one of my Remington 870 Wing Master Police shotguns. Easy install with no damage to the finish of the shotgun. This is very important to me as they are part of my personal collection. I see me ordering a dozen more in the future. The elevated rail makes it easy to see the shotgun sight (below) and also makes it easy to see the red dot tactical combat sight mounted on the rail. The 6 shell mount is also great with the shell holders at a perfect tension. I also have a fore end mounted light and laser on this "home defense shotgun. I am a Police Firearms Instructor and Armorer. This attachment made a great shotgun even better! Great job TacStar ! The only complaint is the price is too high. This should be a $ 40+ part not $60+ .

I am very happy with mine, mostly because i use it in the wrong way to my advantage. The shell carrier from the factory is overly tight. Making it next to impossible to pull out a round under the best of conditions, yet alone under stress. This problem is easily fixable by just taking a little bit of sand paper to the inside. However i found that the tightness of it is perfect if you don't push the round all the way in. Pushing it through to about the halfway point of the carrier, not only allows the round to be pulled easily, but allows space for an extra 6 rounds. This set up dosen't interfere with the function and doesn't block the trigger. Haven't had any issues with rounds falling out while shooting. The rail has been great as well. Perfect mount for my reflex sight.

Snug fit, Scratch my receiver little bit but not too bad. Would not be a bad idea to file or sand the edges down before installation. Included hardware seems decent. Although the finish on the aluminum section is not the highest quality. Good for the price and will get the job done. The rubber Shell retainer pads was not installed Correctly, But was simple to take apart and correct.

Website and Manufacturer site states this will work on Remington 870. Don't believe it! The only thing that fits the 870 is the predrilled holes. The rail projects so far forward it inhibits the slide action resulting only only 3/4 opening of the breech, rendering the shotgun useless. Well, I guess I could still use the gun as a club. Had to return the rail. Too bad as craftsmanship was great. If you own and 870 the OEM foregrip this product is not for you.

Awesome rail mount and shell holder. All hardware was included with tools. Took ~3 minutes to install, looks and works so well, now I can use red dot scope on my Remington 870 Tactical. I can still use bead sight since rail mounts just above barrel.Build quality is excellent. I like how the shell holders are rubberized, but still stiff enough to stay in place and keep their form. I have yet to fire with the scope mounted, but it sits perfectly in existing receiver holding pin locations. I am really happy with it.If you have read this much, why haven't you bought it yet? You won't regret it.

I bought two of these, one for a Mossberg 500, and one for a Remington 1100.Mossberg 500: Although attaching the sidesaddle is pretty easy, I discovered I could no longer rack the gun because it interferred with the wooden forend. I think they do warn about this somewhere and they do make a sidesaddle without the picatinny rail which is supposed to work better for this application.I ended up installing it on a 590 Shockwave and there are no interference problems there. You can still use the bead sight and the tunnel effect of the rail actually makes it more useful: When looking straight under the rail, you'll see a reflection of the bead sight on each side of the tunnel.Remington 1100: Installs easily. My 1100 has semi-buckhorn sights, the rail obscures these somewhat. If you plan to add an optic, this probably isn't a problem. Bead sight probably would work fine.General comments: Installing these entailed replacing the takedown pins, and in the case of the Mossberg, the extractor screw. You'll need an allen key to remove them for takedown, which is a minor inconvenience. For the Mossberg, the new extractor screw is longer and then gets a hex nut on the other side. This should make it extremely unlikely for the screw to loosen on its own and jam up the bolt, which I have had happen before.The shell holders are tight, really tight. You should practice loading, and maybe only push shells about half way through, or try a lubricant. They will probably loosen up with use, but are pretty tough.If you have a blued receiver, the finish will probably wear under the sidesaddle over time.

So it fits perfectly. A lot of people complain about how it scratches the gun and doesn’t allow to slide to go all the way back but if you put it on once and don’t take it off you don’t see the scratches and if you don’t have a pump that goes past the receiver it won’t catch at all. I love it and would recommend it to everyone!

Sturdy and easy to install. No tools required. I put it on my Remington 870 And just used the replacement pins to tap out the retaining pins, screwed them together and bobs your uncle. Solid snug fit. Bang on.

Muy buena calidad ,queda estupendo sobre el arma ,yo la mÃa la compre seminueva con pocos tiros y modificada de culata y corredera por tanto tuve que modificar y recortar dos cartuchos porque al montar daba sobre estos e impedÃa está acción,imagino que con la corredera de serie no será preciso ,aún asà está operación fue sencilla y quedó muy bien.

Quick easy install on my Norinco hp9. Feels solid in place. Just make sure you have enough clearance before you buy. Some fore ends extend past the receiver when cycling (pumping). Make sure it does not extend more then a centimeter back.

The saddle fit my rem 870 perfectly. Site mounted nicely. Holds the shells securely but not overly tight. Happy customer.
