I was looking for a way to attach a sling to my Rock Island Armory LION Tactical SA. This looked like it might work.Well it’s not a perfect fit but it will work. The only other similar option that I’ve had on my wish list is $49. At less than half the price this is a no brainer. As I was aware that the fitment might not be perfect,I can’t hold that against the item. I may grind a bit to get a better seat on my gun.It’s a fairly simple product so as long as they adhere to proper measurements, machine and drill properly (not a given) and use good metal it will do what it’s supposed to do. So far so good. Installing the clamp and rails was easy and it tightened up ok. I didn’t crank it down. I won’t until I do a bit of grinding so as not to deform anything. These are designed to have a top and bottom. Make sure you have both sides in the right orientation before tightening. It’s metal on metal so keep that in mind.Overall I’m happy with my clamp. I’ll show some before and after Pics once I get it fitted properly.Update. I thought the hole in the rail was a QD port, alas it ‘‘tis not the case. After I received my sling I determined I was going to have to order a pic sling adapter with a QD port. My bad. It is not listed as a feature. Still a good value.

Two screws hold the clamp halves together and then the picatinny rails cover those screw holes.There are two differet diameter to the clamps, obviously the smaller diameter goes on the barrel and the larger diameter on the magazine tube. If you think it does not fit, you're probably installing it upside down.Well made, well machined. This will fit barrels and mag tubes just as well. If you are getting it for the pic rails know that without a light in the lower jaws will close further, causing the pic rails to end up at an angle of about 5 degrees relative to the barrel. Dead simple installation, if a bit finicky. Just have the screws in the wells before screwing them in and it will be a quick install. Pic rails are spaced correctly. It aluminum and while I would prefer 7075 I don't foresee an issue with the 6061. Good design. A little too much at 18 bucks, but hey I have paid more for less and if 18 bucks is gonna break the bank then perhaps gun accessories shouldn't be on you immediate shopping list anyway;-)!

The quality of this mount is excellent. The hardware works together in perfect harmony. No cross threads, superb fit and the material appears durable.It was simple enough to mount and I had my Streamlight Protac Rail Mount HL-X on board of my Harrington & Richardson (NEF) Pardner Pump 12 gauge shotgun, all, within 10 minutes.The Pardner Pump is a derivative of the Remington 870, which I own in the longer barrel Field model for hunting game, as opposed to home defense. The Pardner pump doesn’t accept all parts and accessories designed for the Remington 870, but it does accept this tactical picatinny mount without any complaint.The mount is an excellent value and a very useful addition. I am thrilled to, now, have a WML (weapon mounted light) on my home defense shotgun on a DIY basis — no need for a gunsmith.Enjoy andBlessings

This clamp Picatinny rail mount fits perfectly on my Mossberg 590. I am pleased with the small footprint, just enough to add a laser sight and/or flashlight since you get a rail on both sides. I've already tried a laser sight and given that this is a shotgun, accuracy is pretty much a given. My only complaint is that it does make breaking down my Mossberg for cleaning a bit more involved now since to remove the barrel, this mount needs to come off. Not too big of a deal, but first you have to take off whatever is mounted on the Picatinny rail, then you have to remove the Picatinny rail on EACH side since the mount attachment screws are underneath the rail screws. Then you can remove the clamp itself. This is a bit involved, so if you need/want to remove your barrel very often, consider that this will slow things down considerably. But also consider that there aren't a lot of options for a shotgun rail, so that is probably going to be true for any attachment mount you might consider for a shotgun.

Very simple light clamp that will mount directly to a 12 gauge shotgun barrel or it's tube as well as rifles with heavy barrels such as a Ruger 10/22 or Savage Mark II 22. Those barrels are just under an inch and when you add a flashlight with a 1 in tube body the fit is perfect to both barrel and light. I added a bit of thread locker to the screws to achieve a simple, strong and stable mount with the light aligned with the barrel. Didn't even bother with the picatinny rails. Just one less thing to loosen up as far as I'm concerned. 5 stars
