Not sure what to think about this set up. The pressure gauge hits the tightening ring on the filter body before its seated and air tight. I have seen others complain about this issue. Not sure why manufacturer hasnt fixed this problem but nope. Contacted seller and they did give me a $20 refund to buy a 1/8in npt brass fitting to move the gauge away from the ring. Just dont think I should have to do this step it should work from the factory. Also when I pulled the filter bodies apart to change locations one body had 1/4in npt holes versus the 3/8in npt holes in the other 2 bodies. I wanted 3/8in fittings to get the needed air to my plasma table and its not what I got. Contacted the seller and the response was they are out of stock. Um what is out of stock the correct size filter body. And are you telling me you shipped it knowing it wasnt correct. And does that mean you will send the right one when it is in stock. So right now im not the happiest but will see what happens. At least when I contact the seller I get a response fairly quick just a little hard to make sense of the replies. Update on review. The seller allowed me to keep the system and refunded the purchase price. While i wish they had the correct body I can live with that and they responded quickly with all my questions. Customer service is good. The filter system I got has been installed on my cnc plasma and is working well even with the restricted airflow so Im good with that.

I added this to a home shop compressor that does not see a lot of use. I like the 3-stage filter system as it allows for the use with HLVP paint sprayer or a pot sprayer. Getting rid of the water in the air is important. I replaced a another filter with this one.Installed very easily. The threads worked well and all the parts fit.The air regulator seems to be off by 5 to 8 pounds. Which is not an issue as I compensate for the differential, however, it should be accurate.Okay product for the price.

I wish these came with extra Orings for the sediment cups. The first time I took them apart I couldn't get one to reseal at all and finding a replacement Oring locally was like a scavenger hunt, ended up having to go to an industrial supplier and paid like 8 bucks a piece for them.I will probably never take it apart again because of that. The pressure gauge needs a spacer or else it will bind up on the sediment cup retainer ring. Luckily I happened to ave a brass 45â° elbow in a can of random fittings. That elbow gets it away from the bowl and it angled the gauge upwards for easier reading.

I needed something to help remove the air in my small powder coating shop and this made a big difference.I like that it comes with extra beads to help with drying and it is very heavy duty!!!Only thing I did was replace the pressure gauge with a better one but that is no deal breaker.5 stars!!

Needed this to keep the moisture out while airbrushing, and it does the job really well

Out of the box, you get everything including a few extras. 3 extra bags of dessicant. Well worth it to have a few extras on hand while your used ones dry out. An extra coalescing filter, and extra 'fines' filter round out the package of spares. Super nice to have those as well. Construction is aluminum, as mentioned, but not the soft stuff you'll get elsewhere. Probably 6061 or similar. Threads are true, and easy to seal with the PTFE tape included in the kit. All the extra fittings, from reducers to nipples to an air chuck quick disconnect outlet are hard to beat. They seal well. The only issue I found is that the air pressure gauge is a bit short, and contacts the ring of the coalescing section, forcing a loosening of the gauge to get the filter cartridge out. Not a show stopper, but you might want to consider a small 1/8-1/8 reducer to get it away far enough to not be an issue. Other than that, it works perfectly for what it's intended.
