Used in my supercharger plumbing. had a plastic elbow that cracked. Replaced with this elbow. The heat under the hood becomes a factor over time, and a strong pump = leak.

These fittings do not have a suitable 1/4" barb. There barbs are far too small for 1/4" ID tubing. They slip right in with no friction whatsoever. Hose clamps supplied with fittings don't even close enough to tighten over thick-walked tubing. Even with ear clamps, the barb is so thin that they spray liquid at 24psi.

As others have stated, the barb is 1/8 o.d. meaning a 1/8 i.d. hose slips off. No one lists hose barb fittings this way!This would work for 1/16 hose but not as intended.
