Bought this chalk after trying the white. I was doing interior work and didn't want to stain the walls and be able to wipe/wash it away later. The white was great for this, but I was having trouble in rooms with lighter color paints and whenever there was a transition in light in the room. So I bought this green chalk in hopes that it wouldn't leave permanent marks. It works great and I can still wash it away. And it leaves a super bright line. I was working in rooms with wood floors and the color is so brilliant that it is better to just vacuum than to wipe up chalk that gets on the floor because just a small amount of chalk left will show in the grain and in between boards. Not sure I would use this in a carpeted room.

A bit more messy than the stuff you buy at the local hardware store but that also means it sticks and makes lines better. I like the color as well seeing as how no one else uses this color because it's not easily available means their is no confusion as to who's line is it anyways.

I always used tajima chalk line products , because of the high quality. Purchasing with Amazon makes it a lot easier.
