I'm an adult and an aggressive chewer, and i was really surprised by the toughness of this necklace. i'm used to soft silicone chews, which i tend to destroy pretty quickly if I'm using them how i need to, but this one took some getting used to because of its firmness. it's super durable, and while the texture on this one is a little bit of a drool factory, it's still nice to mess with with my hands as well when i'm in a situation where I can't chew on it.

Please see attached photo. This chewer didn’t even last through one day of school whereas another brands chewers I’ve never had an issue with.The unicorn comes separately from the necklace and you just have to thread it through by doing a loop and pulling it through.It’s a very vibrant color and my daughter was extremely happy with it, I just can’t have her wearing it again since I would rather her not eat the chewer.She is six by the way, and chewing helps her not chew holes in her shirt. We think it might be anxiety. And the chewing really does help her feel comfortable.

Functionality and durability seem good, good value for.price, however I bought a "new" one which seems to have been used. Large visible scuff/scratch on the back of the chewy part itself, plus the bag it came in looked cloudy/dirty and the amazon label sticker on it was folded back and visibly filthy on the exposed adhesive part. Not comfortable giving this to my child, it's going into the trash.

This reminds me of the spice Turmeric. Such a warm and enriching spice and the color and design reflect that same feeling.

This is super small! Comes with a necklace but wouldn’t want to use it as it’s a strangulation hazard for a baby.

This wears like a nice artsy necklace. The chewing part is a semi-hard silicon and the neck portion is a fabric, if I had to guess, a soft nylon.Due to the plastic clasping mechanism, I was unable to simply thread the neck line through the chewing part, so I had to use the pictured method to get the lanyard through the toy.The main problem is the hole in the toy has little reinforcement, so it doesn't take a lot of abuse before it fails. I mention this because this is a kid's chew toy and we all know how kids like to be rough with these type things.Don't get me wrong, the item isn't bad, but longevity is definitely a concern due to the placement of the lanyard hole.

This is a review for TalkTools Sensory Chew Necklace - Sand Dollar Yellow (Tough).I've been buying chew toys for over fifteen years, back when you had to get a therapy catalog slipped to you from some kind-hearted therapist in order to get them and you ordered over the phone. I've seen a lot of chew toys and necklaces. And very few of the ones I see on Amazon are actually for aggressive chewers. This one is. It has a shiny slick coating and it's hard silicone. Will it be destroyed? Well, everything breaks down if you chew on it long enough, except maybe rocks and diamonds.Here's what I like:* it's actually a hard chew made for aggressive chewers* the hole is inset into the design rather than being attached with a loop on top. Did the owner chew it off anyway? Drill a hole through the very middle, give it a good cleaning, and string it on the necklace again.* it feels as shiny as it looks. A small thing, perhaps, but in a world where chew toys all look alike, this is refreshing.* the design isn't terribly juvenile and is good for older chewers.* the breakaway necklace is sturdy but not too difficult to pull apart.What do I not like:* nothing, really. This seems to be a well designed and well-produced chew pendant. Only time will tell, of course. If it falls apart sooner than I think it should I will post an update.Is it pricey? Yes, but the good quality chews have always been pricey. Even back in the catalog days.
