I ordered this cake box to deliver a wedding cake I made. The cake was 12" wide so it went in perfectly without the sides touching. It was super easy to assemble and once the lid went on, it was pretty sturdy. I think it would work well for any cake height but be sure if your cake is smaller that 12-14 inches, you have something to stabilize it on the bottom so it doesn't slide around. Highly Recommend!!

These are big enough to contain a cake on a 14" round cake base, with about half an inch to spare, just enough to easily slide in or out but not enough extra room for the cake to shift in the box. Perfect.

These boxes are the sturdy, corrugated cardboard type. I used them for a heavy 2-layer cake decorated with tall icing and whole strawberries. Still had have the box of headspace above the cake and no "flimsy" feel. Wish the white was glossy instead of flat, but would still buy again.

These boxes were easy to assemble and sturdy, but they were a little pricy. I wish they had different quantity options. Overall, this is a great product.
