Chair was very easy to put together. Solid seating, Strong foot base ring, and you can raise the arms. Chair is not heavy but it feels strong and I like how the has a flat bottom which means you can, if you wanted to use the chair on a bed or other flat surface. It is surprisingly difficult to find flat bottom chairs. Manufacturers want office chairs to be curved so you cannot use it on any other surface. Planned obsolescence. This is a flat bottom so yeah. That is a feature. The back of chair is really ergonomic too. Not too tall to be uncomfortable on the head or neck or too curved to maintain a straight posture. Yeah man, this is a really nice chair.

Very easy to assemble and it even came with spare screws! Height adjustment is the reason I bought this - I have a desk that height is not typical; it is bit too tall for a regular office chair. I had to sit on cushions to not get a back ache. I decided that life is to short to not be comfortable, so I found this chair and ordered based on reviews. I am thrilled with the height range and how comfortable the seat is.

Easy to assemble (less than 20 mins), comfortable and a good basic desk chair. My only issue is that I wish it had a little bit more lumbar support and a higher back. All other negative assessments were my own choices: color (while the white is aesthetically pleasing, I was a doofus and spilled on it the first week, which stained) and the arm rests (I chose the flip up for space saving, but realize I like the adjustable ones, since I'm shorter and it's more ergonomic).

You Get What You Pay For...Typically Speaking, -Right?So that is where we precisely are with this "Kensaker" chair. It reflects the value of its price in 2024.This "Kensaker" chair yields ultra clear Instructions and it's 'Very Easy' to assemble in I had a "Global® 8977 Drafting Chair" for over thirty years to this date; Rock Solid Stability, Seated Hours of Ergonomic Comfort, a lovely beast with profound bottom and back cushion support. My brother and I labeled it "World's Greatest Chair!" However, I had left it within a damp basement for an extended period and, along with some other items, it became infected with minor mildew spores. 'Overly cautious about spore migration, it had to go and I needed a replacement. 30+ years later my $69 {Staples} "Global 8977" is now $230-$330. I just couldn't justify the cost of a new "Global 8977" since my chair usage has become less frequent. Thus, arrives this "Kensaker Drafting Chair" purchase:You can feel the instability immediately upon seating -it appears safe, mind you; but, if you make a movement, you feel more than your body moving. The positions of the bottom and back feel slightly awkward and poorly proportional to accommodate support and any extended duration of seated usage. I immediately missed my "Global 8977" ; but, this "Kensaker" will do the minimal seated work currently required. Overall, it seems like a normal sized desk chair that's been elevated to greater heights; but, without the consideration of what that extra height requires to provide a stable, comfortable unit. I like the movable armrests and the added footrest ring. However, upon positioning my feet, I can feel the chair wobble a bit and, upon seating myself, I can always feel the pneumatic post decrease 1-2". Lastly, I am within the load bearing weight of the chair, at 190lbs / 5'9". I feel a fair price for this chair would be reasonable at around $79.00, and not the asking $109 -$129. But, I'll be keeping the chair and crossing my fingers, as it'll be too much of a hassle to deal with a return. All that being said, upon observing the current field of similarly priced, cookie-cutter designed, and similar material type [plastic not metal] drafting chairs, it does appear to be the best value of the Amazon bunch. It is 2024 and not the 90's, and you will get what you pay for, just not the "World's Greatest Chair!"
