These worked great for my Wetherby Vanguard S2. I got the 1-inch low scope rings option, and they fit perfectly for a 3-9x40 scope. It gave me a good cheek rest on the rifle stock. I recommend getting the medium rings if your scope's objective lens is bigger than the 40 mm because I do not think a 44 mm objective lens would work without contacting the barrel. The rings had a great finish and looked well made. I mounted these onto my rifle without an issue. Overall, I am very pleased with these scope rings.

I have always heard that Talley rings are exceptional, but I had never tried them up to this point. I purchased a Howa 1500 rifle and Talley rings are one of the few choices, so I decided to give them a try. The quality is exceptional. They fit like a glove and appear to be very sturdy despite being very light weight. I have hunted from Alaska to Zimbabwe. I know how important it is for things to hold up in the field. I am fully confidant in these rings, especially where weight is a concern. I will be using these again in the future even on guns where everything is an available option They are that good!

Nice to have the one piece mount. Fit my weatherby vanguard 30.06 perfect. I mounted a 4-12x40 vortex scope with it and everything clears. Any bigger than a 40mm objective lense and your gonna need the medium or large to clear the barrel.

What a great set of rings....Just mounted my Scope on my Weatheryby Vanguard Stainless 30.06 with my Talley Rings and I have to say they are sleek and light weight, but very solid. It takes a one of a kind ring to mount on the Vanguard, so no brackets or Picatinny rails needed. They bolt down directly to the barrel. I wanted to make sure I was ordering the right Part Number and height so I called the Customer Service number and got all the information to get the right fit for my gun....it took the guess work out of purchase for sure ! I would highly recommend this company for all of your Rings and parts that are needed for the various gun manufacturers ! I am amazed at all of the Products , Heights and Finishes that are available...This Company's Quality and Service deserve 10 Stars !!!

I was skeptical about claims of no lapping , but after installing the mounts on my Howa 1500 Mini and checking alignment with Wheeler alignment tool , they were spot on !!! Thanks Talley for a product that is awesome !
