I purchased the "Tamales Masa Spreaders" for our annual family tamale making extravaganza. They spreaders came in a pack of 4 and they made a world of a difference! It helped speed the masa on the ahojas/corn husk easier and evenly.. and helped with the spreading process. They were super easy to use. They hand gripper was easy on the the fingers and worked great! I would recommend these to anyone making tamales.

Purchase this item for Christmas tamale making. Although somewhat helpful, not necessary when making tamales. However, it was kind of fun for some of us to use the tool.

This right here is a game changer. My family didn’t believe it til they saw me use this to make tamales. It takes practice to get used to the technique, but once you have that down…wow. I can finish 30lbs of masa on husks w/in 90 min. It’s not as fast as other folks but that’s way faster than what I used to do. I bought more so I have back ups in case I forgot one at my family’s house when I help out.

I make tamales often. Usually in large amounts 6-8+ dozens. Before this product I would spend at least 6 hours making them. I just used this for the first time for 8 dozen tamales, I was done in TWO HOURS

These don't work well at all unless you buy store-bought unseasoned masa. They don't do a good job spreading and are completely worthless.
