I used these nails along with plastic caps to hold up 3/4" foam board. Worked just fine for me.

These nails came packaged in a simple, thin cardboard box. The quality of the nails, though, was a good surprise: I could not find a single malformed one, as it always happens with standard quality galvanized steel nails. All perfect, and I expect these to last forever. For all practical purposes, using stainless steel in nails may seem overkill, galvanized nails are the standard. But I found way too often that galvanized nails get rusted-through and break - depending on the location they get used, some rust through in just a few years. Either the quality of the nails or the environment may be to blame, but either way stainless steel is a much better choice when the cost difference is not overwhelming.

90% of the nails were bent near the head of the nail. These nails must be factory rejects. It was too late to order different ones so I had to use them. Most would bend at the spot of the factory defect.

I ordered these 304 stainless steel nails for use on my siding. I noticed they are magnetic, usually 304 stainless steel is not magnetic. It concerns me that they may rust. On the positive side, they do look well made with few to none malformed nails.

Nails work great, go in strait and have great resistance to pulling out.Stainless steel design should last a very long time. The etching on the head keeps the hammer head from slipping off while striking. They are pricey but worth the extra investment to ensure a quality job outcome.I would order again.
