At just over $200, this device is absolutely outstanding. I am a coach of both a National Team for boys and a Regional Team for girls in New Jersey and it has done wonders for my athletes. I don't just have my setters working on this, but my liberos, my middles, my opposites, anyone that needs to learn proper setting technique while still getting an edge in accuracy. I would recommend every club player have one of these things because you can change the height and the angles of the sets. It takes seconds to adjust and even comes with a draping net that will funnel balls into a ball cart.I've worked one practice last night as a clinician for a 15's Regional Team. I took the setters to the side and worked with them for a half hour. Prior to practice, balls were set too far outside the antenna, or over the net on a back set. After working with this thing, both girls can now set decent 4-balls, great 2-balls and PERFECT back-5's. Just having the setters be able to set perfectly to your right hitter is worth its weight in Gold.

Bought this used from amazon. The description made it sound like it had been dropped off a 10 story building. Took a chance and bought it thinking if it needed anything I would hopefully be able to fix it. Outside of the packaging looking like the three stooges wrapped it up! It was in brand new condition. The thing looked like it had never been put together or even attempted to be put together. It’s held up well. I lined the hoop with pool noodles to absorb some of the shock. I also cut the top off a plastic 55 gallon drop and drilled a hole in the bottom so it would fit on the post for the weight. This way the balls would feed into the net and into the barrels.

great price, could get the job done. my issues are: the net and velcro are extremely flimsy. it falls off regularly. maybe there is a trick i am unaware of? the other issue, the hinges and handles that raise it and move the target are hard to tighten and close. if you hit it just right with a set, it can loosen and fall, which is annoying. our 14u, 15u, and 18u setters use this, and its purpose is great, but with the inexperience of our setters and missed sets, it actually takes more time to stop the drill and fix the target than it would be to just have them set without it. They don't get as many reps because of this issue.

Very sturdy and well made. Just like the equipment in the volleyball gym. Comes with the weight (which I didn't realize). We've gotten a lot of use out of it and have only had it a few weeks. The knob (for lack of a better word) that is used to adjust the position of the net is sometimes cumbersome to use and I'm curious if that will be a weak point, but so far, we have no complaints at all. I've had no problems with the netting or having the hoop fall out of position despite having balls hit the rim of the hoop frequently.

We got these to help our setters work on their accuracy. It is great! The setters get immediate feedback, because they can see the ball is either in or out. We don't have to waste practice time telling them things like "a little higher", "a little lower", all the coaching cues are now on skill and form instead of where to put the ball.

Clearly the packing label says it comes with all the parts. Well I did not get the poles to assemble the thing.

It is a great concept. However, when my daughter hits the ball too hard into the side of the red ring, it comes apart. Then you have to lower the whole thing and try to get it back tight again. And then it does it again.

Took twice as long as advertised to get to me but worth the wait. I may just order another one since it is a great setting tool.

Well constructed, had a problem with the first piece of equipment they sent, but returned it and a new one was sent. It is used multiple times a week by both male and female teams, and has stood up to the beating. We are ordering another one to be able to have one on each court.
