I have these in two diesel storage tanks and one gas storage tank. They work and are money savers. I had water in my gas storage tank and it took care of the water in six hours. Not seeing any water in the separator bowl on the tractor anymore. Love them!

I have this and another water absorber in my diesel drum. Somehow i still had a layer of water in the drum, in the same area that this would sit, yet it didn't really look any different than the initial product, certainly nowhere near the swollen as you would expect a "fully saturated" one to look like after being in there a month when I ran all my diesel through a set of water separating filters. Not sure if mine is defective or what, but a month should be plenty of time to work or see a difference with the amount of water that was filtered out

didn't tale up much water. I used a shop vac with a PVC pipe attached with duct tape. Worked better and quicker.

I bought two. It is a fabric tube stitched across the middle to make two halves, each with a piece of steel wire in each half, along with about two teaspoons of drying agent. In theory. One half on one of mine had no drying agent in it.24 hours in two diesel tanks with condensation at 60-70F, showed no change. It didn't swell, and there was no obvious change in weight, although the fabric comes back up saturated in diesel.I don't know whether both of mine were defective, or there is something wrong with the marketing materials. But the bottom line was that they didn't make an appreciable difference. Personally, I don't see how a few grams of drying agent could absorb the claimed amount of water (400ml, nearly a pint of water) . The most effective drying agents can hold about ten times as much water; I don't see how ten or twenty grams of drying agent could absorb 400ml...My $0.02 is save your money. I will update the review if I hear from the manufacturer.
