I had heard this type of drum used in a singing bowl demonstration. This one was so awful in sound, quality, and value for the money, it went right back to Amazon. Do not buy!

I gave this to a friend who loves it. He uses it during meditation. He has used it and people in other rooms asked how he was making the ocean sound. another person asked him the same question while they were on the phone.
