I usually carry a regular soft measuring tape in my bag which I use when I go shopping and need to measure things. The downside of carrying this type of tape is that I would have to unroll and re-roll it when I use it. This retractable tape measure is so much better to use. Just pull it out and press the button to retract it. Easy peasy. I don't know why I didn't think of using this sooner. I love it.

Being able to retact the tape measure is such a simple way to make life easier. It's much easier to put away, and if you are like me and have a cat, then it is safer in that my cat can't eat it!

I'm not always pleasantly surprised with my mail orders, but this one was very pleasantly surprising. I loved the color and I have to use my measuring tape frequently against people's skin, so have to sanitize every time after...and it's holding up very well! Easy to read, too!

I bought these because my husband lost my actual measuring tape. My hands are very arthritic so it is hard to hold the tiny tapes but I make it work.
