Just got it and works good but as I’m sitting in my cold plunge I’m looking at the two submerged plugs wondering how well it’s manufactured and if I’m gonna die from electrocution at any time.

This is an item I didn't know I needed. Now I wouldn't go without it! I use this with a cleaning solution (also obtained on Amazon), and it does a fantastic job of keeping my cold plunge water clear! It has a great motor, and seems like it will last for a long time. It is perfect size for my ice tub, was super easy to install, and functions as expected if not better. I don't notice the hum of the motor, but I also easily tune out noises around me. This is a great product for the price. I recommend!

Got this because it says it's for hot tub and cold plunge tub. Open it up and everywhere you look it's talking about for fish tanks the box says aquarium uv filter. Two cords to plug into the wall one for the pump the other for the light. If you need it for your aquarium fine, it will most likely do the job but don't get this for your hot tub it's not made for that size of a tank.

Finally, a handheld, affordable UV filter I can use in camp, in the rv and at home. We live in a time when most water is polluted. I use this filter in combination with high quality particle filters for every drop of water I drink, cook with and or bathe in.

Just got this and it works well. Using it in my cold plunge, and the filtration keeps the water clean without much effort. Setup was easy, and the dual plugs weren’t an issue. The unit seems well-built, though I’ll keep an eye on long-term durability. So far, it’s doing exactly what I needed.

it came fully assembled including a filter — t it also has 2 spare filters — all filters. are cleanable and dsigned for fish waste so they should go a long time filtering Peoples hair and other stuff including what is in the air — it is a little difficult to push in the tabs to remove the top and bottom (wanted to check the lamp for damage) — the materials are up the task — the suction cups stick well on a new pool— it will take a while to evaluate the UV light — I would order again

I was somewhat surprised when I opened the package and saw the product label "Aquarium UV Filter". You can see on my picture it is for 50-150 gallon aquariums, but in the listing it says 100-800 gallons for the cold plunge tub, which I guess makes sense, I would hope a cold plunge tub would see less filter debris than an aquarium (hopefully). I wasn't expecting to have two 120v plugs, the first for the UV light and the second for the pump, so I immediately had to buy a splitter, no big deal, just was a surprise. The bubble adjustment is a pretty cool feature, I'm always cranking the bubbles to full blast, but it's good to have options. Overall this is a good addition to my cold tub, I was dumping the water after every other use, I just finished my fifth use and it's still fresh, not sure yet if I'll just keep using the same water (just topping it off from time to time) or if I'll have a flush schedule.
