To use these features there are two separate activation buttons. Since it is meant for protection, the StrikeLight has been made of a lightweight, but durable anodized finished aluminum with a high-strength polymer front lens holder and an anti-roll design, so it can last and is easy to use. This stun flashlight is powered by only one rechargeable battery, which is included. The battery takes 8 hours to fully charge once depleted with the included AC wall charger. When fully charged, the battery provides 5 hours of continuous light or 100 5-second stun discharges. Additionally, there is a wrist strap provided, so you can carry the TASER StrikeLight with ease. Not only is the Taser the best out there, the flashlight is very well made with a red light, a medium brightness cool white light and an extremely bright high beam.The flashlight is pretty much a flood beam but on the brightest setting it has a nice spot in the center of the flood. It is plenty bright enough to temporarily blind anassailant in darkness. The battery, I was most impressed with! I fully charged it with a USB -C cord overnight and the next night put the light on its brightest setting. It took over 4 hrs to fully discharge the battery while having to turn the flashlight back on several times because of an auto shut off feature after a fairly long period of time.The light did not get hot to touch during the whole time discharging the battery. The Taser continued to work and l believe maintained its strength throughout my discharging of the battery. It does have a battery level light going from green fully charged to amber to red for low battery.I had been looking for a high quality taser for sometime and have bought just about all of them I have seen that looked like quality products. Several with flashlights combos.This is really the only one I have purchased that is truly high quality and above and beyond my expectations! Now, it is very expensive for such a product but to me very well worth it. I will be purchasing more for ones in my family. Good temporary protection from unruly animals to unruly people and a great companion to a Glock!

i was skeptical at first because i bought a few crappy taser flashlights in the past. I paid more than expected - but what a great flashlight - and a taser to boot! works great and comfortable to hold. Charge holds well and easy to activate the taser part. if you are looking for a quality taser, and a great flashlight, I recommend this one....

Great product. I really wanted one with a really good light and this one has it. Three different light settings which is also nice. Buttons are easy to operate even with gloves. Good feel in your hand. Excellent product and packaging.

Sunday 12/15: Device arrived at Amazon pickup.Monday 12/16 (last night) I got it home, removed it from the box at around 5:30 pm PST.I pressed the button briefly to test.The device sparked beautifully once.Once.It hasn’t sparked again since.The flashlight still works.The stunner is garbage.

We purchased this so we could feel safer when we walked in the morning. With the different light modes it made it easy to turn them on quickly if needed. The stun gun part has not been needed yet, however it was useful when 2 german shepherds were out of their fence and barking at us. We just made it zap a few times and they went back in their yards. Not to mention that it is heavy enough if needed we could hit someone with it as well. I would recommend this product.

I like the flashlight portion of this product. I still don’t feel safe with this thing. I feel like any regular taser isn’t effective since you’d have to make contact with whatever is attacking you. I guess just the noise itself could deter most humans! It’s a good quality though with a nice weight. Very easy to use and holds a good charge. Overall I wouldn’t buy it if I were you. There are other products for way better prices

Something for that zone between concealed carry and a self defense baton! The light is powerful and the sound the taser makes when you push the button is enough to make anyone think twice. My wife brings it on her walks and also keeps it in her purse. Its very well made btw. Not a cheap device at all!

I wanted a genuine Taser product and I got one here. A few other reviews made it sound oversized or heavy but it's actually quite compact like a small flashlight and solid as one would expect from a serious tool. It's well built. It's got a great light with excellent switches, a grippy hold and a wrist lanyard for retention if you want it. I finished charging mine to 100%, practiced a few times with the controls, saw and heard a very satisfying and impressive crackle of electric current, and checked the stats to be sure it holds a long charge -- it can fire 5-second bursts 100 times between recharges. This puts the cheap import toys to shame and is exactly what I would expect in terms of value for a genuine Taser brand weapon. And yes, the literature does refer to it as a weapon. It's not a toy. In fact it will probably be your primary flashlight and you'll have the added security if you ever need it. Charges in a couple hours with USB cable.
