These are stunning, amazing quality, and so stylish (if you care about that!) my husband has had skulls laying around, & on top of his cabinets… We finally found these and I have gotten SIX now. The darker color is our favorite, and when it comes into availability we grab them!!!

Very nice plaque, it is a quality finish. I taped some printer paper over the lower 2/3 of it to reduce scratching. One sentence the instructions should more clearly state; you drill the screw through the back of the board and into the skull. I drilled my screw hole 3 1/4" inches down from the top, centered side to side. That's where the eye sockets lined up best with the plaque shape for me. It's kind of tricky to line up the scull hole over the screw and hold it all while you drive it in. I sat down with the plaque standing up on the ground and held the skull/board with one hand, driving the screw with the other. Take time to straighten the skull before fully tightening. I put the bottom screw for the wall hanger 2" down from the top. Just take your time and mark it all out on the backside, it's pretty straight forward. I couldn't have made a nicer one myself, and it's not that expensive.

These are perfect for deer skull mounts! We have three of them now. It’s super easy to attach to the skull mount and hardware is included for hanging. They look like they were done professionally.

This plaque is beautiful and simple. Looks great with a European skull mount. Could have better hardware for hanging. Scratches easily but can’t tell from the wall. Overall a good buy. Would buy again.

I typically bury my deer heads for a while to do my Euros. Use an electric pressure washer to get off the rest of the goo. A little fence stain on the horns then modeling clay around the horn bases for a little ivory colored spray paint on the skull. Screw the skull to the wood plate with a rag in between to avoid scratches( like the instructions state). Boom , Euro mount on the cheap. These bases are really nice and come with hanging hardware.

Very happy with the color of the wood. It is a perfect shape for a European Mount. It was easy to get the mount attached to the plaque. It looks great on the wall. I would buy again.

We picked this up for a euro mount we recently had done. I was hesitant to order but found the quality to be very nice. I won’t be ordering the wooden mounts when we get the euro done but rather order this instead.

I’ve purchased 3 of this before with good luck but this year I ordered two and one was split down one side when it arrived. I glued it back together, but was a little disappointed in the quality of this one.
