It was exactly what I wanted and came with everything need to install beside the hammer drill. The bit it comes with is an off size SDS bit so you will need a "Chuck" Style Hammer drill to drill the wholes. I bought the cheapest one I could. A Craftsman, 7 AMP for $59. Worked great.

Our pool company recommended these rails and we like them. Very sturdy and cheaper than the ones we looked at getting. My husband had bad knees and these let him enjoy our pool.

The railing and railing cover are fine and a good value, but the screws that came with the railing were insufficient. They were too short to with stand any weight placed on the railing. My handyman used his own longer screws, which is why I rated this product less than perfect.

The pool handrail arrived timely and as advertised. Fairly easy to install, other than the masonry bit included is a 12 MM and only fits an SDS Hammer drill chuck. It won’t work in a regular hammer drill chuck. We had to use a 1/2 “ masonry bit, and it works so far. We first drilled the holes with a 5/32†masonry bit and followed up with the 1/2†bit.
