The instruction manual with this item is the biggest problem. in our booklet the biggest problems were instructions 4, 5, and 6 because our board labeled 4 holes do not match what is shown for board 4 in the booklet and instead board 9 does. so pay very very careful attention to the photographs in the instructions because your boards may be mislabeled. I was not a fan of nearly this entire cage being assembled with loosely fitting locking screws this makes it very delicate while being put together and the cat jumped on ours mid construction snapping a board right off (thank goodness for E6000) . The instructions were frustrating do to mislabeled boards , the construction was frustrating due to assembly materials chosen, however once it is together it is a beautiful cage for a hamster that looks very nice and expensive in a room and keeps the hamster safer than most cages i have found. which is important when you have a cat! While the frustration makes me want to give this product a 3, I am giving it a 4 because the end result was beautiful and i had a 20 dollar off coupon at purchase. :)

Fantastic cage! Writing a quick reveiw to say it's doors Do work, the instructions however were hastily made, not very clear, and whoever designed this did not communicate with who put together the instructions well. See pics^ the instructions say to put the silly little L-hinge with the leg of the L away from the door. That doesn't work, it makes the doors not open and not sit flush with the cabinet. Flip it so the leg of the L sits on top of the door, Now the doors will sit right and be able to open. Mines incomplete atm, I'm gonna be adding some paint soon. Will do a more thorough review then.It's Very roomy, great value for money. I love the door on top. My one irk is that there's a big hole drilled into the top corner for the light chord to go out. If a smaller hamster had a way to reach the hole it'd absolutely escape, and it came with no sort of stopper or anything to clog this hole when not in use. I don't know if I'll put the lights in that it came with, they're just a strip of leds that could go anywhere. Free lights for me ig.

The cage is really nice exactly like the picture and description only down side is the hinges if you can call them that don’t work you can only open the cabinet doors four inches and the top part that opens latches are also poor quality all but one broke just by me putting the screws in other than that I absolutely love it just wish the hardware was better

The size is permit was easy to assembly and looks great in my living room. Seems to be sturdy, as for cleaning unfortunately it does not have any type of tray for the base which would be a great addition to help with cleaning the cage. The cage seems to work great it it’s a little to deep for my wife to easily reach the. Hedgehog

This cage is very nice. After I figured out the items were labeled on the ends, everything went well. Took a little longer than I expected. The item is very nice, sturdy, looks good. One of the hinges was broke. I have contacted seller (I just did that, so they haven't had time to get it yet). Otherwise, would recommend.
