Pros — Conceptually speaking, it is exactly what I wanted. A press that is entirely glass, except a few absolutely necessary steel components. It is beautiful, precise, and dramatic enough to feel elevated.Cons — The glass is thinner than I anticipated, making it feel a little fragile. On the one hand, it may be kind of a pro that it defies expectations by working so well despite looking and feeling so whispery, and after all, this type of glass is very sturdy. On the other hand, I find myself a little stressed to handle it with extra caution.Final decision — It is worth it, I just have to be mindful.

I like this French press a lot. It does the job very well, but the glass does seem extremely thin and delicate. I have knocked it into a few hard things accidentally already and it hasn't chipped or shattered, but it really feels like it might at any moment and spooks me every time it knocks something.I would really like to see another model with slightly thicker glass and slightly higher capacity for brewing two cups.

The glass is tough (for glass). Strainer works well, no grounds get past it. Makes a great cup of coffee as strong or as mild as you might want it. Well priced too.

This is a beautiful French Press and I really appreciate that it is made of glass with no plastics at all.The problem is that it is a single wall construction, so although the French Press it works well, it does not retain heat. You start with boiling water and in 15 minutes it is tepid. There's no going for a second cup for yourself. It will be cold by the time you try to pour. Since it is made of all glass, it's safe in a microwave, but I can't recommend.

The bottom filter section does not detach, making it impossible to properly clean and replace mesh filter. I am returning it.

I don't usually leave reviews but this broke after two weeks of having it just from trying to wash it. It tapped against the faucet head and cracked. The top part also cracked while trying to wash a separate time. I purchased this one because it was one of the only French presses I could find without plastic in it but it's extremely fragile. Apart from this, it's pretty and I enjoyed it before it broke.

I just started drinking tea on a regular basis and love the Glass French Press for Tea.
