This ladle is almost too beautiful to be a simple ladle. As you can tell from my pictures, my intended purpose for this is for use out in the woods, but it would be just at home in the finest kitchens anywhere. It doesn’t have an enormous bowl, which I like. It’s just right. Large enough to be able to scoop single servings, not large enough to fill a 5 gallon bucket. This is a really beautiful ladle and a real pleasure to look at, hold, and use

I recently switched from plastics and silicones for utensils and got myself a bamboo set. The problem I quickly ran into during the winter season was having something like a ladle. I didn’t want something metal to scrape because I haven’t fully switched over my pots to “non toxicâ€. I figured I wanted something affordable to be able to get my soups or saucy dishes. Having used it for weeks now, it is durable, thick and practical. I chose it for the price and it didn’t disappoint me yet. It is a little shorter than the typical style but great. I love the hole option so if I do decide to hang my utensils instead of having them in the drawer or in a decorative pot/ jar (a future option) I can do so. For a really deep pot, this may not work well. But for my regular standard “big†pot it is perfect. I’ve served chilli, creamy soups, curries and even meat marinara well.

It's quality it great. I love the feel of it. Wish the handle was just a little longer. The color is also a rich brown that makes it look nice with my other wooden utensils.
