If you use cassette or reel to reel decks, this is a must-have product. It cleans heads and rollers so easily. It makes my other cleaning methods look pathetic. Seriously!Marvelous product. Thanks!

This stuff is great. The heads on my Roland RE-501 looked like there was a brown varnish on them. The varnish was concentrated in the center of the heads and on the magnetic poles. I thought it would take a lot of elbow grease and maybe something stronger (like Brasso or Lapping Paper) to remove it but - WOW! I used wooden handle cotton swabs and dipped them in the bottle of cleaner and rubbed the heads in a side-to-side motion and the varnish started coming off...easily. It took two cotton swabs per head to get all the gunk off. And now all of the heads are clean as a whistle!

Amazing taste with easy but pleasant notes of aftertaste. Smells amazing as well . It really cleans the brain cleanse to the utmost of sparkles but jangley mids . I hear it also cleans tape player thingy part , ya know this tapes player thinger from the good roaring 70/80/90. If you will excuse me I have to return some video tapes.

The best product I’ve found to clean tape heads and transport.

I have been searching for a cleaning product similar to what I use to find back in the 80's to 90's for my cassette deck (yes, I still own one). This is an all-on-one product that cleans tape heads, pinch rollers (really any hard rubber rollers), and capstan. With "boomboxes" making a comeback in recent years, and some with integrated cassette decks, this is a must for preventive maintenance.

If I had to guess, I'd say this is Naphtha/lighter fluid. That was a staple in the recording/engineering industry forever for cleaning the tape path. They say to use this on the rubber parts too like pinch rollers. I'm not sure I'm onboard with that, but it's more benign than some of the other solvents out there. This stuff is expensive and it's hard to beat denatured alcohol on the tape path. If you read online all the recommendations on what to use for your tape path, your eyes will bleed eventually. This is a good product, but don't think it's the end-all solution for the price.

Great cleaner for cassette deck heads, belts, and pinch rollers. Definitely less abrasive than alcohol, yet effective. Saved my vintage deck from having to go to the shop.
